Fore MCRC are delighted to announce Principal Insurance by Howden as our title sponsor for the upcoming Walderstown Road Races, Race of the South.

Fore Club and Prinicipal Insurance have built a connection now going back to 2016.
Principal Insurance have always been a great supporter of Walderstown Road Races as either title or race sponsor in that time.

Principal Insurance have a now long tradition of supporting motorbike events all over the country and we as a club are delighted to see them onboard with Fore club.

Fore mcc are holding an open meeting in McCormacks bar, Castlepollard at 8.30pm on Tuesday the 26th of May for all members and new members are always welcome ..
Thank you to all that attended our club training seminar last week.

Time is ticking and weeks are getting fewer to walderstown road races July 18th and 19th.
All support and help is greatly appreciated by the club.
If you can make this meeting, it will be great to see you along.

This evening the club hosted a Marshall training seminar for those wishing to help out on a race weekend , from flaggers to track side Marshalls and radio people.
The seminar was very well attended by young and not so young, new and experienced.
A big thank you from the club to all who attended and a special mention to Gary, Clodagh Brennan and JJ who facilitated the seminar.A great presentation and we are very thankful to them for taking the time.
The 3 will be busy on the banks of mondello this weekend.

Club update.
Firstly all at Fore club wish to pass on our condolences to the family and friends of Kamil Holan who unfortunately passed away following an accident at Northwest 200.
Our thoughts are with them all.

Also reminder of upcoming marshals training this FRIDAY 15th of May in Castlevaragh Hotel, Castlepollard at 7pm.
All Marshalls, flagmen and trackside help that wish to volunteer need to get this training done,
If u wish to receive an ID card/cert afterwards please bring €10 and a passport photo.

PRESS RELEASE,

Club statement.
Fore Club committee who run Walderstown Road Races wish to advise that our races being held on 18th and 19th of July is GOING AHEAD.
Unfortunately, there are rumours doing the rounds in the last few weeks and especially this week at the Northwest that we have failed to secure the works needed on the roads at Walderstown.
These works will be carried out in the coming weeks following discussions with the council and funding received in advance of those works.
The club has also secured a headline sponsor for the event and race and programme sponsors are already coming on board.
The club committee and members are putting in the hard hours as we speak to have everything in place.
So on that note, spread the word and keep an eye on our social media pages for other press releases coming over the next few weeks.
