Brendan began his journey in the motor industry straight after school, starting out at Meegan Motors in Broomfield under the guidance of his brother-in-law.
It was there he discovered his interest in vehicle repair and the satisfaction of a job well done. Eager to develop his skills further, Brendan joined Bogues of Castleblayney—the town's main Ford dealership—where he completed a four-year apprenticeship. After qualifying, Brendan took the next step in his career with McCabe's Toyota in Ardee. There, he gained valuable experience working on a wide range of vehicles for another four years. With a wealth of main dealer knowledge and a desire to bring honest, high-quality mechanical services to his hometown, Brendan decided it was time to strike out on his own—and BML Mechanics was born.
