Peter & Angela Doran founded the business in 1979, acquiring the Skoda, Hyundai, Isuzu and Maxus van franchises on their Carrickmacross site (Doran Motors) across their 43 years in business. They purchased and opened Frank Keane Drogheda (formally Drogheda Car Sales) in 2012 as the Hyundai dealership in Co Louth, and in 2019 the Suzuki franchise was added. Frank Keane Holdings are a very respected
family run business within the motor industry and acquired the businesses in November 2022. They are the leading suppliers of BMW, Mini and VW in Dublin across their 6 sites. Gerard Boylan joined the team in May 2021, formerly CEO of Top Oil, and a chartered accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers. Along with the existing team of 60 employees across both sites, lead by Operations Director Francis Jones and Sales Director Carol Kerr, we look forward to the future of the motor industry and the further introduction of electric cars.
