Hi everyone. Remember? Six months ago, I wrote about buying a 2002 Yamaha Drag Star XVS 125.
It was in terrible condition and needed an engine overhaul—new pistons and rings were installed, the cylinders were honed, and the timing chains, tensioners, and rocker arms (one was broken) were replaced.
The front and rear brakes were refurbished, and the front fork seals and oil were replaced.
The engine got fresh oil and filters, and the bodywork was refreshed, including a repaint of the fuel tank.
The Yamaha has been brought back to life.

Unfortunately, it hadn't been used for the past three years.
An attempt to start it resulted in a broken countershaft, forcing me to disassemble the engine—while I was at it, I replaced the crankshaft seals and the output sprocket.
Now, the moped brings joy to Andrzej 🤗

After William replaced the radiator on the 2001 Suzuki GSX-R 600 with a new one (the old one was leaking), a problem arose: the coolant was boiling at just 66 degrees.

Replacing the coolant temperature sensor, topping up the system, and bleeding it solved the problem 😉

A 2012 KTM 990 SMT arrived in a van 🥴
A quick diagnosis and throttle body adjustment/synchronization got the engine running like clockwork 🤗

I hope Przemek gets a ton of fun out of it. 🤪

Unfortunately, the engine wouldn't run right with the carburetor it had (a new one); but after buying a genuine Honda unit and replacing the linkages—problem solved, and it runs like a dream now. 🤗

A 1998 Suzuki Bandit 600 that had been sitting idle for a long time.
Unfortunately, the carburetors required cleaning and repair, followed by synchronization.
To make matters worse, after cleaning the fuel tank, we discovered it was riddled with holes—like Swiss cheese—so we bought a used one in excellent condition.
The oil and oil filter were replaced; a significant amount of fuel had leaked into the engine oil due to the faulty carburetors.
