🚛 Throwback Thursday!

A great photograph from years gone by, featuring three Mercedes-Benz trucks lined up together.

From left to right, we have O Leary International with "Sail Away" across the windscreen, Nolan Transport sporting their well-known "Movin' On" slogan, and BreenTransport.

Three familiar names from the Irish haulage industry and a great look back at an earlier generation of Mercedes-Benz trucks.

Does anyone remember seeing these trucks on the road, or perhaps even driving one of them? We'd love to hear your memories in the comments! 👇

🚛 Same Truck, Different Look!

A great collection of photographs showing this Mercedes-Benz 1632 in two different styles during its working life.

Associated with PJ Collins, this 1632 spent years travelling between Ireland and the UK on Meadows Group work.

The photographs show the same truck before and after a change in appearance, with different cab styling and paintwork giving it a completely different look.

A great piece of Irish haulage history, and one we're delighted to share.

A big thanks to Niall Daniels for sending these in, with photographs courtesy of PJ Collins.

Does anyone remember seeing this 1632 on the road?

🔙 Throwback Thursday

A great photo from the archives of a Mercedes-Benz Actros 1853 leaving the Somers Commercials yard in Camolin back in the day.

Sporting its distinctive blue and white livery and a 1998 registration, this first-generation Actros is a great reminder of the trucks that passed through our yard over the years.

📸 Does anyone remember this one?
