HGV mechanic required to work in busy workshop servicing vans trucks etc

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

· Carry out Inspections, Fault Diagnosis, Service, Maintenance/Repair on HGV vehicles

· Complete all relevant paperwork.

· Deliver Professional and efficient Customer Service at all times

· Work as part of a team, maintaining a good working relationship between both colleagues & customers

· To adhere to correct working procedures, highlighting any errors or safety issues promptly to Management/Supervisory staff

· To keep the working area Clean and Tidy

· To undertake any other Duties or Activities as required

Pay based on level of experience

Experience:

HGV or LGV Mechanics: 2 years (Preferred)

Responsibility will include.
Maintaining accounts.
Filing vat returns.
Customer invoicing.
Credit control.
Maintaining timesheets & job cards.
Paying suppliers.
Sourcing and ordering materials.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day administration of the companyhence they must be competent in all areas.

Good organisational and communication skills are expected as is a willingness to work on their own initiative.

A background in the motor trade preferred but not essential.

Salary is negotiable.
