of the RETRO CLASSICS meets Barock® 2018 Concours d'Élégance in Ludwigsburg in June 2018.

The 15th edition of this high-quality event presents the beauties and rarities of the pre- and post-war era in the courtyard of the Residenzschloss Ludwigsburg. For years, this classic car event is considered an important date for vintage enthusiasts and is one of the highlights in the course of the diverse classic car season. Whether it's the baroque setting, the historic vehicles or the summery, cheerful atmosphere: RETRO CLASSICS meets Baroque® is probably unique in its high-quality presentation and always something very special. Each year, around 20,000 visitors come to the vintage car event in the castle courtyards, where the owners of the rarities in the automotive beauty pageant in different classes face the jury's verdict.

Concours d'Elegance

For the classic car lover, who knows and appreciates the charm and challenge of a Concours d'Élégance, this event is a highlight in the diary. Since 2004, the Ludwigsburger Concours of the World Association of classic car clubs, the Fédération Internationale des Véhicules Anciens, FIVA, has been included in the exclusive rounds of A-class events and thus one of the world famous FIVA-A-Concours. The vehicles are judged by the jury according to the rules of FIVA. This review is monitored on-site by a FIVA steward.

Köszönjük Janos Koncz barátunk és a Totalcar.hu újabb színvonalas írását a munkánkról! Ilyenkor tudunk mi is kicsit felnézni a mókuskerékből és hátrébb lépve vetni egy pillantást arra, hogy mit is csinálunk. Sok ember küzdelme van e mögött, úgyhogy itt köszönnénk meg az RPM-ben dolgozó kollégák munkáját is.

Nagyot szakított a Banga-testvérek roadstere a Pebble Beach-i árverésen. Az RPM Styling már a veteránozás nemzetközi elitjéhez tartozik.

Publikumswahl - Best Jewel 2017 - BMW 507 restored by RPM-Styling

For many, Classic Days Schloss Dyck is Germany’s Goodwood Festival of Speed. The huge event set against a magnificent stately backdrop, is certainly similar to its British counterpart in terms of its impressive scale. And its varied program has helped win it an enviable reputation. The classic car-related events and exhibits on offer appeal to a broad audience of collectors, aficionados and vintage fans. Every August for many years now, tens of thousands of visitors have made their way to the castle and surrounding gardens near Düsseldorf.

The regularity competition, held on a 2.8 kilometer circuit in front of the castle gates, is definitely one of the main attractions: for many visitors, seeing the motor racing legends, all built before 1962, drive past is the main highlight of the weekend. Outside the competition, numerous manufacturers also send cars from their museum collections to undertake demonstration drives at the castle.

Schloss Dyck has become a fixed date in the calendar for many clubs – including clubs for specific brands, US cars, tractors and commercial vehicles. Participants, mainly from German-speaking countries and Benelux, bring more than 7,000 vehicles to the event. The organizers are particularly proud of the regular participation of some imposing vintage Bentleys brought over from the UK by the Benjafield Racing Club.

There is also a Concours d'Elegance, called “Jewels in the Park”, on the Orangerie Peninsula. In August 2017 the BMW 507 #41 restored by RPM-Styling won the trophy "Publikumswahl - Best Jewel 2017", continues her winning series from 2016. Congratulations to the owner for his 4th Concours d'Elegance cup
