🚗This Porsche 924 Le Mans Edition is one of our own restoration projects — and a rather special one at that. Only around 1,000 examples were produced, making it one of the rarer versions of the 924.

🧐As with many classic cars, time has not been particularly kind to it. That's why the bodywork restoration is currently underway, laying the foundation for everything that will follow.

🙌Projects like this remind us why we love restoration work. Every panel repaired, every detail corrected, and every hour invested brings another piece of automotive history back to life.

🚗This classic recently arrived at our workshop for a quick “season preparation”.

🧐Once we started inspecting the car more closely, it quickly became obvious that years of aging, previous repairs, and neglected maintenance had caught up with it.
So the project turned into something a little more serious:

👉complete wiring harness inspection and repairs — because almost nothing electrical was working properly
👉propeller shaft repair and balancing
👉engine revision, maintenance, and tuning
👉full brake system restoration
👉suspension repairs and bushing replacement

👐This is something we see often with classic cars.
A car may look ready for the season from the outside, but once you begin driving and properly inspecting it, the real condition starts revealing itself.

💁The goal is not only to make the car look good.
The goal is to make it reliable, safe, and enjoyable to use throughout the season.

🚗Not long after the Mercedes W114 returned to its owner, another classic arrived at our workshop.

🙌A Jaguar XJS.

After enjoying the Mercedes so much, the owner wanted the same thing with the Jaguar: a classic that doesn’t just look good standing still, but can actually be used and enjoyed throughout the season.

This time, however, the starting point was a little better.
The car arrived in a more solid overall condition, so instead of a larger restoration project, the focus is on a thorough seasonal preparation — addressing the typical issues that appear after years of aging and making sure the car is reliable, comfortable, and ready for the road again.

Because sometimes the goal is not to completely rebuild a classic…
…it’s simply to make sure you can enjoy driving it.
