From January 19, 2026, if your vehicle fails ANY ONE of these 13 faults during inspection at a Designated Centre, the license will be temporarily revoked. The car must be towed away for repairs, then re-inspected at Kwai Chung Inspection Center again with an appointment. Driving it during suspension is illegal.

由2026年1月19日起，若您的車輛在指定驗車中心驗車時出現以下13項故障中的任何一項，車輛牌照將被即時暫時吊銷。車輛必須拖走維修，然後預約到葵涌驗車中心覆驗。在吊銷期間駕駛屬違法。

Please make an appointment with us for a pre-inspection checking before license renewal date.

We think the most annoying thing is that the car needs to be towed away if failed (extra cost for car owner) and re-inspection at Kwai Chung center (Extra time cost)
