Significant progress continues on our latest Ferrari F430 restoration at Vintage Vehicle Mechanic.

We have successfully removed the steering rack for a complete rebuild, restoring precise steering feel and eliminating any wear or play. In addition, we installed a full set of new front and rear control arms along with all associated Flanblock bushings. Every component was precisely fitted by our experienced specialist technicians.
This comprehensive suspension and steering refresh restores original handling sharpness, stability, and driver feedback, ensuring the F430 delivers the exceptional dynamics it is renowned for. All work has been carried out to the highest standards using quality components suitable for this iconic supercar.
The project is advancing steadily with clear improvements in both performance and refinement. We will continue to share detailed photos and further updates as the build progresses.

A client recently brought in their Ferrari F355 F1 with a persistent noise coming from the clutch area, together with noticeable jerkiness during low-speed driving. These are classic symptoms of a worn or failing dual-mass flywheel and clutch assembly — very common on the F355 after years of spirited use.

The Ferrari F355 F1 (1994–1999) is one of the most loved mid-engine V8 Ferraris of the 90s. With its 3.5-litre 375 hp engine, razor-sharp handling and the revolutionary F1-style paddle-shift gearbox, it remains a pure driver’s car and a modern classic.

At Vintage Vehicle Mechanic we are now carrying out a full professional flywheel rebuild. We have removed the complete clutch and flywheel assembly, carefully inspected every component, and are rebuilding the flywheel to factory specification using high-quality parts and precision machining. Every step is done with the meticulous care these Italian icons deserve.

This project once again showcases our full-spectrum capabilities — from complex clutch and drivetrain work on modern-classic Ferraris to complete mechanical restorations.

Once finished, the F355 will shift smoothly and quietly again, restoring that signature Ferrari driving experience.
