Prodrive 在1984年由 David Richards 創立，從賽車工程公司一路成為 Subaru WRC 最具代表性的合作夥伴之一。1995、1996、1997 年 Subaru WRC 車隊連續奪得車手或車隊世界冠軍，Prodrive 因此累積了非常深厚的四驅、引擎、底盤與賽車工程經驗。

Prodrive P1：比較接近「現代化、在地化」的工程實驗。以 Subaru Impreza WRX STI 為基礎，重新調校引擎、四驅、懸吊與車身，將 Prodrive 長年累積的 WRC 經驗轉化成一台更適合公路使用的性能車。
P25：則是「重新打造」。以 22B STI 為精神原型，但大量使用現代材料、現代電子與 Prodrive Motorsport 技術。2.5L水平對臥四缸、約400 bhp、6速序列式變速箱、主動中央差速器，以及碳纖維車體，概念上已經遠超過單純Restomod。
P1的重點是 Prodrive 如何把WRC技術民用化。
P25的重點則是 Prodrive 如何把經典WRC時代重新工程化。
但同樣令人重新想像：經過外廠WRC技術和工程加持後的Subaru，可以變得更加狂暴。
What happens when Subaru’s WRC heritage meets Prodrive engineering?

Founded by David Richards in 1984, Prodrive grew from a motorsport engineering company into one of Subaru’s most important WRC partners. With championship success in 1995, 1996 and 1997, Prodrive built deep expertise in four-wheel drive systems, engines, chassis and rally engineering.

The Prodrive P1 takes a more modern, road-focused approach. Based on the Subaru Impreza WRX STI, it reworks the engine, AWD system, suspension and chassis, bringing years of WRC experience onto the street.

The P25 goes even further. Inspired by the legendary 22B STI, it combines modern materials and Prodrive Motorsport technology with a 2.5L flat-four, around 400 bhp, a 6-speed sequential gearbox, active center differential and carbon-fiber bodywork.

The P1 brings WRC technology to the road. The P25 re-engineers the WRC era for today.

Both prove one thing: with Prodrive behind the engineering, a Subaru can become something far more extreme.

8 月 15 日，GT 杯 4 小時耐力賽於珠海國際賽車場上演。面對反覆變化的雨勢、乾濕交替的賽道，以及多次 Code 60 與安全車帶來的比賽變數，每一圈都考驗車手技術、車隊策略及團隊應變能力。
