On World Drowning Prevention Day 2026, we join the call to “Unite to Turn the Tide.”

Drowning prevention is not only about emergency response. It is about awareness, training, preparation, and having practical tools ready when every second matters.

This Dolphin 3 trial in Perth, Australia, shared by USV Australia, shows how a remote-controlled lifebuoy can support rescue teams working around public waters, marinas, beaches, lakes, and other aquatic environments.

Technology alone cannot prevent drowning. But when it supports trained professionals and stronger water-safety systems, it becomes part of a more prepared response.

🌊 We’re on the ground at NOG Energy Week 2026 in Abuja!

Our team has been meeting with energy professionals and project stakeholders at Stand F74, sharing how uncrewed surface vessels can support safer and more efficient offshore and nearshore operations.

Two OceanAlpha models are taking centre stage at the show:

🔹 V180 - Heavy-duty Marine Survey USV for Deep-sea ROV Operation & Large Offshore Oceanographic Surveys
🔹 L42B - Long-Endurance USV for Offshore Hydrographic & Geophysical Surveys

Together, they show how autonomous vessels can support work both at the surface and below it—helping operators collect critical data, extend operational reach and reduce personnel exposure in demanding marine environments.

If you’re at the show, stop by Stand F74 and meet the OceanAlpha team. We’d be glad to learn more about the operational challenges you’re working to solve.

Hello from Southampton! 🇬🇧⚓

OceanAlpha is at Seawork 2026 - Europe's largest commercial marine and workboat exhibition.

The commercial marine industry is moving fast: tighter budgets, stricter emissions targets, and growing demand for safer operations at sea. Our uncrewed surface vessels are designed to help - autonomous survey, offshore support, and maritime patrol that gets the job done without putting crews in harm's way.

Come find us at Hall 1, Stand B5 - one more day to go and we'd love to connect!
How is your industry approaching the shift toward more autonomous and sustainable marine operations? Let us know in the comments 👇

🌊On this World Oceans Day, we celebrate the ocean—and the people who dedicate themselves to protecting it.

Recently, Assistant Chief of Operations Ola'i Carvalho, Ocean Safety Chief Bradley Young, Battalion Chief Ka'aina Keawe, Prevention Captain Tyson Goo, and two Hawaii Fire Department Lifeguard Jet Ski Operators tested one of several Dolphin 3 units donated by the Daniel R. Sayre Foundation.

For us, it was a powerful reminder of why this technology exists.

When emergencies happen on the water, every second matters. Tools like Dolphin 3 are designed to help first responders reach people in need faster while reducing risk to rescue personnel.

We extend our sincere thanks to the Daniel R. Sayre Foundation for making these deployments possible, and to the dedicated men and women of the Hawaii Fire Department for their commitment to keeping Hawaii's waters safe every day.

This World Oceans Day, we honor all those working to protect lives on and around the ocean.

🌿 This World Environment Day, we're celebrating the unglamorous work that all conservation depends on: measuring what's actually happening to our water.
In Italy, our SL40 USV is used to map water quality across lakes and reservoirs, tracking blue-green algae, chlorophyll, turbidity, dissolved oxygen, pH, salinity, conductivity, and more. One autonomous run covers what would take a crewed boat far longer.
USVs won't solve everything. But they give the people protecting our water a much better tool.
To the scientists, researchers, and environmental teams doing this hard work: we're glad to be part of it.

Hello from Hannover! 🇩🇪🚒

OceanAlpha is at INTERSCHUTZ 2026 - the world's leading trade fair for fire and rescue, civil protection, and disaster control.
We're so excited to be here among so many first responders and emergency professionals.
Water emergencies don't wait — and neither should your rescue capability. Our Dolphin 3 intelligent rescue USV is designed to reach people in distress faster and safer, while our firefighting USV tackles marine fire scenarios that traditional equipment can't easily access.

Find us at Stand D02 - come see what autonomous rescue looks like in action.

What's one innovation you're most looking forward to seeing at INTERSCHUTZ this year? Let us know in the comments! 👇

Day 1 at Securex South Africa 2026 and it's great to be back! 🇿🇦

When most people think of security, they think cameras and access control, but what about the water? Ports, coastlines, dams, and inland waterways all face security challenges that traditional systems simply can't cover.
That's where we come in. OceanAlpha's uncrewed surface vessels (USVs) are designed for autonomous patrol, environmental monitoring, and waterway surveillance, quietly covering areas that are difficult, costly, or risky for manned vessels.

If you're at Gallagher Convention Centre this week, come say hi - Hall 2, Stand D33.
Our team would love to chat about what autonomous solutions can do for your security operations.

What's the one security challenge you think technology still hasn't solved? We'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments 👇
