After last weekend’s bad weather at 'Ferrari Festival Tokyo's kept me from seeing the cars I wanted, I came back for Round 2, my Ferrari redemption! 🌙🏎️

This time, clear skies and an incredible lineup of 17 Ferraris, including the F40, F50, Enzo, Daytona SP3, Monza SP1, 296 Speciale, 849 Testarossa, 12Cilindri, Amalfi and Purosangue.

Also spotted in the other section: F80, 499P and SF26 F1.

Definitely worth coming back, especially to see the F40, F50 and Enzo trio all at one place! 🔥

Ferrari Festival Tokyo at Tokyo Midtown starts today! First time seeing F80 in the flesh. 😊👍

Due to the weather, we couldn't really enjoy them as most of the cars were covered. 😅🌧️

F40, F50, Enzo, Daytona SP3, Monza SP1, F1 SF-26, and others were amongst those covered cars. New Ferrari Luce was available for view only to those owners. Too bad. 😕

Tsuchiya Keiichi's SUPER Drift Technique

This 'Drift Bible' VHS video was released on December 10, 1996 by Kodansha. It is a driving/drifting instructional video starring Drift King Tsuchiya-san!

Why is this VHS particularly famous?

Because it was one of the earliest video content available in the market that focused on how to actually initiate and control a drift, demonstrated professionally by DK. You get to watch young Tsuchiya-san adapts his driving technique to different chassis like AE86 (lightweight FR), S14 (turbo FR) and MR2 (MR).

If you're collecting old school JDM drift memorabilia, this is definitely one to put in your list. 😊👍

'CARBOY Levin & Trueno' was a Japanese car tuning magazine published in year 2000.

Instead of standard monthly issue of Carboy magazine, this special collector's volume focused mostly on 4A-GE tuning and setups, and marketplace insights from the peak JDM Tuning era.

It's interesting to see many aftermarket parts from that era that have long been discontinued and are now considered rare gems. Sometimes, you just wish you could go back in time and experience it all again. 😊👍

More AE86 N2 action captured on the grid, in the pits and down the long straight. 🔥

With the raw intensity of the N2 engine sound, the race was incredibly fun to watch and capture.

I can’t be everywhere at once, so this is the best I could do from my camera. 📸

Can you believe Tsuchiya Keiichi turned 70 this year?

The Drift King has been an inspiration to so many of us since we were first exposed to the world of cars. I particularly admire how he helped popularize drifting through his own AE86 touge videos, such as Pluspy, and his legendary drift technique VHS tapes that taught a generation how to drift.

During the Hot Version and Best Motoring era, he often took his own AE86 to Gunsai and went up against much more powerful cars, constantly developing the Hachiroku and showing the world what the AE86 could do.

Two years ago, he surprised us again by building his own N2 AE86 with TEC-ART’S — the Super N2. And seeing it back at Fuji Speedway today with yet another round of upgrades is a reminder that his love for the AE86 has no end.

At 70, Tsuchiya-san is still doing what he loves.

I’m truly grateful to be able to capture these moments of the Drift King and share them with the world. 📸

Thank you, Tsuchiya-san, for always being so humble and for sharing your passion for the AE86 with all of us. Please stay strong and healthy always! ❤️🏁
