👉Minoan Place of Worship: Excavations proved that the cave was one of the most important sacred sites for the Minoans, as thousands of votive offerings were discovered, including bronze figurines, weapons, and tools.
👉The "Lake of Zeus": At the deepest point of the cave, there is a beautiful, mystical underground lake. Standing next to it is an impressive stalactite that locals call the "Mantle of Zeus".
👉The Fantastic View: The trail and the entrance of the cave are located at an altitude of over 1,000 meters, offering panoramic views over the entire Lasithi Plateau.
