CORFU. North Corfu Municipality has announced that road repairs will be beginning immediately.

"Due to the heavy downpour water has collected in a lot of areas and the Fire Service has advised everyone to avoid using the roads if not necessary. Branches have been broken throughout the island, including one outside IKA and a cypress tree fell on the road leading to the prison, leading to the closure of the road until the Fire Service could remove it".

CORFU. Crews from DEDDIE (Electricity company), the Fire Service and the Civil Protection Department have been busy throughout the island.
