Νταβίντε Ταρντότσι

Γεννημένος στη Ραβέννα το 1959, ο Ducati MotoGP Team Manager είχε μια ανεπιτυχή θητεία στο Παγκόσμιο Πρωτάθλημα 250cc το 1984 και το 1985. Μετά από αυτή την περίοδο συμμετείχε σε αγώνες Superbike.
Στην πρώτη σεζόν του Παγκόσμιου Πρωταθλήματος Superbike, το 1988, ο Tardozzi τερμάτισε τρίτος, αν και κέρδισε 5 αγώνες οδηγώντας ένα Bimota/Yamaha (ο πιο νικηφόρος αναβάτης της σεζόν). Την ίδια χρονιά ο Ταρντότσι έγινε πρωταθλητής Ιταλίας SBK.
Συνολικά υπήρξαν 5 νίκες στο Παγκόσμιο Πρωτάθλημα Superbike, 7 Ιταλικοί τίτλοι Superbike και 1 Ευρωπαϊκός Superbike το 1991.
Έγινε Team Manager της Ducati μετά τη συνταξιοδότησή του ως πιλότος. Ο Carl Fogarty, ο Troy Corser, ο James Toseland και ο Troy Bayliss κέρδισαν τίτλους υπό τις διαταγές του, σε συνολικά 8 παγκόσμια πρωταθλήματα στο SBK.
Μετά από μια σύντομη περίοδο στην BMW το 2010 στο Παγκόσμιο Πρωτάθλημα Superbike, ο Tardozzi επέστρεψε στο Casa de Borgo Panigale.

Δυστυχώς δεν υπάρχει πια .... Ο (Ivano) Beggio ήταν μέρος αυτής της γενιάς που εξελειξε μοτοσικλέτες με βάση τη λειτουργικότητα και τα αισθητικά αποτελέσματα, μπορούσαν να "δουν" μπροστα, γιατί όλα είχαν λογική. Σήμερα πολλές μοτοσικλέτες εξελίσσονται με βάση αυτές του playstation 🤷‍♂️

Laverda 1000 V6

Designed in 1977 by engineer Alfieri (formerly Maserati) to compete in Endurance races, it was equipped with a monumental one-liter 90 ° V-shaped six-cylinder with liquid cooling and double-shaft chain distribution, which it carried out, together with the tubular frame in molybdenum chrome in which it was inserted transversely, a load-bearing function. The intent of the designers in the construction of this powerful propulsion unit was to provide a starting point for a modular solution: in fact, other engines of lower displacement and fractionation were to derive from the V6, destined to equip other motorcycles of the Venetian company, which but they would never see the light.

The 140 hp at over 11,000 rpm of the final version of the powerful six-cylinder (numbers very close to contemporary Formula One engines), obtained also thanks to the 4-valve cylinder head, were transferred to the rear wheel by a 5-speed gearbox and a cardano, a rather unusual solution for a racing bike, but which had its own logic in light of the “endurance” destination of this wonderful two-wheeled creature.
