This Golf was booked in for a Deep Clean. As the lady is a nurse she works a lot of hours and never had time to clean her car, so she got in touch to get it done properly.

Hoovered, steam cleaned and wet vacuumed. All the dust/dog hairs/soil extracted and removed leaving a like new interior.

This Picasso was booked for a deep clean to try and bring back the interior. Nearly 11 hours on this can to remove all the staining on the seats, sweets and food from children and general dirty from use.

So many people question how a valet can take so long. Well let me tell you;

Generally wet wet vacuuming fabric seats it can take anywhere from 15-30 minutes per seat. You’ve got to hoover it, spray it with a cleaner, steam clean the seat to help release dirt and smells, then scrub the seat with a fabric safe brush and then using a wet vacuum to extract the dirty water/suds left behind.

If you’re lucky you’ll get it first time but sometimes it can take a second hit to get the seat clean. You only know if it’s right once it’s dry.

Multiply those 15-30 minutes by 7, then take into consideration there’s a lot of Carpet to clean, as well as the dash/steering wheel/door cards and glass. The interior will be complete.

The Maserati Ghibli Cup. What a car this is!

I know I’ve done a few posts on this car but really wanted to do a detailed post about the work carried out.

So, the car had a full decontamination wash removing general dirt and contaminants ready for machine polishing.

The depth of the paint was checked and recorded prior the machine work taking place.

After doing some tests on the paint I found that a using the rotary with a wool cutting pad was the best way of breaking down the scratches and swirls on the hard Maserati paint.

Almost 45 hours were need to wet sand, remove scratches/swirls, enhance the paintwork and refine it prior to Ceramic Coating.

A final wipe down with IPA to cleanse the paint work of oils/polish residue was a must to make sure the paint was perfectly prepped for coating.

Mayvinci Ayanmo was applied giving 5 years of incredible gloss and protection.

Once applied I used an Infrared Heater to cure the coating to the car.

Fast forward a few days later, we were down at the NEC preparing the car for the Classic Motor Show and it was certainly a pat on the back moment.

Yesterday was a busy one. A Toyota Yaris GR, Porsche Taycan and Aston Martin DB9 all in for a decontamination safe wash.

The Aston had some machine polishing done in the boot to test the paint as it’s been booked in for a 1 day detail and Ceramic Coating later on in the month

For the next 3 days this 1 of 2 Maserati Ghibli Cup is being prepared for the Classic Car Show which starts next Friday!

The car is having the engine bay steam cleaned and dressed. The paintwork is having a full detail and being protected with Mayvinci Ayanmo giving it 5 years of incredible gloss and protection
