"They're just pimped up kids bikes."

No Brands Hatch for us this weekend. We're hitting the tarmac ourselves.

Richard, Carina and Ellie will be at Cadwell tomorrow for the Norasport British Supermoto Championship. As well as catching up with people, Richard is having a go himself in the pitbike category.

It will only be his fifth time ever on tarmac, so some coaching from the ROKiT Rookies may be needed at some point.

The main racing is at Cadwell Park today, and we're sending good luck vibes to everyone we know racing.

Come and find us on Sunday. Look for the teal gazebo, say hi and ask us any questions. It'll be nice to put faces to the people we've dealt with.

It feels like a long time since BSB at Donington, which really shows how far behind we've got on our posts.

We had a great time networking and watching the Rokit Rookies do their thing, minus Jack. Wishing you the healing vibes, .

The Rookies team let us sit our pitbike in their awning. Alongside showing off what we do, we wanted to give the paddock wanderers something different to look at, and it surprised us just how many people stopped to talk about it.

Great catching up with the lads and the team, and hats off to mechanic Russ for getting fresh graphics applied to .9's bike. For the last two rounds, following the epic win at Cadwell, we've gone chrome on Carl's bike, and it was good to see how many people appreciated it.

Now on to Brands Hatch. Let's finish the year out with a bang, Carl.

Huge weekend for Jack Tynan at Assen — P3, P2, P3, plus the K-Tech Rider of the Round award.

Jack posted something this week that's worth sharing in his own words, because it says more about what this weekend meant than any result sheet could. He walked away from racing in 2017 when funding fell through, spent almost a decade wondering what might have been, then came back last year — only to break his back and fracture two vertebrae and four ribs on a wildcard at Cadwell. The physical comeback was one thing, but he's talked openly about the mental side too: rebuilding trust in himself and finding the rider he knew was still in there.

Racing a circuit he'd never ridden and leaving with three podiums and a rider of the round award is the payoff for all of that. By his own account, he broke down in tears on the cooldown lap after that first podium — years of frustration lifted in one moment.

One round left for you at Brands Hatch. Go get it, Jack.

Workload sometimes stops you pausing to work on new methods, but we put some time aside recently to test how white ink could transform chrome and holographic graphics.

Our Epson large format printer runs 10 colours including white, which is what lets us produce things like clear fork stickers. We've carried that over to holographic film here — white ink is denser than the other inks, so it blocks out most of the rainbow effect where it's applied, which in turn makes the rest of the artwork stand out more.

Now the fun part — working out how to use this in some new designs.

Every few weeks or so someone asks us what they can safely spray on their graphics to bring the shine back. Here's the honest answer, based on what the material actually is.

Your kit is a 15 mil calendered vinyl overlaminate sitting on a solvent-based acrylic adhesive. Two things can kill it. Solvents and oils pull the plasticiser out of the vinyl, which makes it shrink, go brittle and lose gloss permanently. And anything that creeps gets under the trimmed edge and softens the glue, which is where mud and the pressure washer do the rest.

That rules out WD-40 and similar sprays straight away — it's mineral oil carried in petroleum distillate, and it's specifically designed to wick into gaps. It also rules out most "wet look" trim and tyre gels. And nothing abrasive, ever: the laminate is softer than paint, so polish and compound haze it in one pass with no way back.

What does work is either a proper silicone detailer like SC1, which is chemically inert to vinyl and gives you instant gloss for a ride, or a wrap-safe ceramic spray if you want something that lasts a few weeks and doesn't attract dust.

One last thing that catches people out — always fit the kit first and shine it after. Treat it beforehand and it ends up on your fingers and then on the adhesive.

Questions on your own kit, just ask. 👇

Perfect seasons are rare for a reason. Bike troubles, weather, close competition — there's always something. Michael Medd's come about as close as it gets to a perfect season on the Parker Racing Pit Bike Supplies BUCCI MOTO UK FM20 and it's been brilliant to watch.

Worth checking out Pitbikesonic's IOM videos too — Michael and the bike make a big appearance, showing it off from a completely different angle to what we usually see.

Glad to be a small part of the journey. Now all we need is for Michael to teach our main man Rich how to actually ride these pimped-out children's bikes.

We've seen a real uptick lately in customers upgrading to full kits, especially in chrome and holographic finishes.

If you're running a standard kit and fancy stepping it up, both finishes are available across our range — get in touch and we'll talk you through the options.

Graphic kits for Surron motorcycles — we can supply for all models, and adapt any order to typical customisations like fork upgrades or ODI front number boards.

We've got a range of designs already live on the website, but we're just as happy building fully custom artwork if you want something one-off.
