What a launch day we had for our new partnership with Caterham

Around a hundred Sevens descended on our Tockwith based showroom to meet the team, enjoy the fabulous cakes, and compete to win Caterhams Drift Experience Voucher!

That honour was taken by Matthew Willoughby who posted a blistering time on the simulator. Congratulations!!

Many people also tried out Caterhams new Nurbirgring Edition, which proved incredibly popular.

The event was such a success, we ran out of nibbles... we will bring more next year. 😉

We are reliably informed that now is the perfect time if you are thinking of a new Seven for next spring, with lead times meaning we should get your car just in time for new registrations 😎

Now that the cats out of the bag, we look ahead to our Autumn Open Day/Official Caterham launch day this Saturday.

Guess what, Caterham themselves are coming along and will be bringing a host of new demos with them, including the awesome new Nurbirgring Edition. Contact our sales line to discuss organising a test drive on the day if your interested, but hurry, there are limited spaces available.

BIG NEWS ON THE WAY!

13th of October!

Keep an eye on our socials. We have a HUGE announcement coming!

As Turn 7 passes it’s 5th birthday, we have been steadily growing as a business. More people, more units, more cars… Now, we are about to step up into a new phase of the business, all with the focus of continuing to improve the services we can provide to our customers.

Our Autumn Open Day is coming up later that week on Saturday the 17th of October, from 10am to 3pm, and as always, all are welcome!

As usual, this is a casual, social day for petrol heads of all types and ages. Supported once again by our friends at Moin Moin Bakery! So lots of lovely goodies as well as good company. This time we will also have our friends at Carlucaccinos back with us, providing some very posh coffee.

However, this year there is something else happing which relates to the announcement on the 13th of October, which we are all very excited about… You wont want to miss it! 😉

We had an excellent first Saturday Social at Turn 7 yesterday, despite the damp conditions. Proof that if you give people an excuse to get in their cars, (an offer caffeine and bacon 😜) they will come.

Next months event is our End Of Season Open Day on Saturday the 17th of October, and we are planning something special for this one 😉

Once again it will be supported by our friends at Moin Moin Bakery, with their incredible tasty treats, and having proved extremely popular yesterday, our new friends at Carlucaccinos will be back as well.

We hope to see you there.

This Saturday will be our first official Saturday Social, supported by our friends at Carlucaccinos.

They will be on site from 9am to 11am, so if you fancy a blat out in your Seven, or whatever your petrol powered toy happens to be, we will look forward to welcoming you for a fun sociable morning 😊🏎

Sundays race was far more eventful, with hard battling throughout. A lengthy safety car period left a two lap dash to the flag, with us restarting in 7th, which proved to be a touch too far back to, but only a touch. One again, this tremendous circuit producing a near photo finish.

Both cars made it to the end, unscathed, having had a thoroughly enjoyable weekend 😀

Our number 172 car will be available for hire at the next race, which takes place at Brands Hatch in support of the Formula Ford Festival. If anyone is interested in joining the team for the weekend, please let us know.

Thats one from one so far!

A dramatic race with an early red flag due to a spinner at the start of lap two, which our number 172 unfortunately got caught up in completely innocently, ending their race. Don't worry, we got it fixed up, and it'll be back on track for tomorrow 💪

171 however went on to lead at some point on most laps, and took the win by just 0.150 of a second.

A fantastic start, fingers crossed for tomorrow.

A full race report will come out next week, along with full length race replays from onboard.
