A large kitchen that I recently fitted herringbone laminate flooring in. The existing skirting had a gap underneath form the old flooring so the new laminate was slid under so there would be no visible expansion gap and no beading to cover it, which makes for a neater job. Painted this big kitchen in York recently. It was all colourwashed the same colour, walls ,ceiling and woodwork which has worked really well. Removed the old tiles behind the cokker and above the worktops and then redid a tiled splashback behing the cooker and put matchboarding above the worktops. I fitted this vinyl flooring and did some pipe boxing for this customer this week. The end grain of the plywood boxing is visible but the customer liked it s it was left as is.
