When I heard the news that Mathewsons Live had an event the same weekend as us, I was worried, and as a reflection on that we were down on ticket sales, so we did loose some footfall to them.
But, you guys still smashed it, showed up, bought raffle tickets, won raffle prizes, had an awesome weekend and helped us raise the bar again.
The entry fees, camping fees, trade pitch fees, autojumble pitch fees, raffles, RC Crawler course all went straight into the charity pot, and all the food trucks, ice cream van and bar also donated a cut of their takings to go into the pot, so massive, massive thank you to you all, you are all awesome and this is such an amazing achievement for all of us.
We just bang some sticks in a field, it's you guys who make the show by turning up with your lovely Land Rovers, so thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
We really do put our heart and soul into this show and love seeing you all enjoying the weekend and helping the show grow. 🫡💞
With your help, we raised a massive £15,662.00 for the heroes at Scarborough and Ryedale Mountain Rescue Team, which will make a massive difference to the work they are able to do, helping those in need.
