JBS Motorcycle Painting is a small business situated in the South-West of the UK, started off with my dad in the early 90's and have been painting and restoring the paintwork of motorcycles for nearly 30 years, I have amassed a vast catalogue of colours & lining information, with either British, European or Japanese motorcycles.

Enjoyed doing this one! A chap brought in tank and panels for a custom built Suzuki GT380. My instructions were I want it Candy Lavender like the early GT750's and some white detailing, so basically left to come up with a design myself.
I wanted a one-off design for him but hints of Suzuki styling, so looked at loads of 70's 380, 500 and 750's and this was the result.
Always a bit nervous when your let loose with someone's bike to come up with a design and hoping they like it when done, thankfully he loves it!his actual words were 'Holy F thats awesome!! 😂

At long last I've sorted a new phone!. If any customers have sent me pics or info for jobs via WhatsApp in the last several months and wondered why I haven't replied its because phone was too old and wouldn't update app, gotta love technology 🤣🙈

New Year, new spray booth, new enthusiasm...... well! at 55 years old the third statement is pushing it 🥴
I'm all moved out of the old unit, new booth up and running (and working well) the rest of the workshop all clean and tidy again, now to clear the backlog.... still super busy but I wouldn't want it any other way 😎😍

Wishing all my past and present customers a Happy Christmas and a bright new year.
Have been a bit slow in returning calls and communications lately as I'm moving my paint shop from Unit 15 into unit 3. For the last 14 years I've operated out of two units but due to expansion my brothers (JB Signs) moved next door into a bigger unit, generating me lots more space. Have spent the last six weeks stripping out my old unit and building a new spray booth in Unit 3, not there yet but we're close
just currently in Chaos 🤣🤣🤣

The jackle blue kettle was a bit of a challenge. Customer asked if i could pimp it up a bit and make it more sparkly.

Nerdy paint info alert!!!!.......

The original colour has a really soft milky white silver base under the aqua blue colour layer so just putting a bigger flake base will change the colour completely and not look factory correct. So I had to reformulate the colour with a blue flake base and a blue/green colour wash topcoat, bringing the flake closer to the surface to give more of a glitzy colour. Sadly my camera phone is crap with blue pictures. Well happy with the results though. 😊
