It's a BMW kind of day today here at R & J Motors! 👍
X1 - front brakes
White 1 series - rear brakes and front track rod end and rack end.
Red 1 series - EML
Z4 - MOT
5 series - Routine maintenance.
And that's before the other customers turn up!!!

Hi all,
Just a quick update to let you know we are still open for business for any jobs or repairs you may need.
Please remember tho that although we are open only contact us if your job or repair is essential right now as we aim to keep ourselves free as possible for key/essential workers at this time.
We are adhering to all the goverment guidlines on how to keep ourselves and you as safe as possible.
If you require work but are unable to leave the house due to self isolation contact us and we will collect your vehicle for you, we would need to wipe down anything in your vehicle we may touch with an anti-bac wipe first but please don't take offence as this is too stop the spread.
Thank you all and remember help others by staying at home unless essential!

With the COVID-19 virus sweeping the nation and the rest of the world. We would like to inform you all that we are doing everything we can to keep our workshop clean and free from any germs as best as we possibly can.
We are planning on staying open and maintaining normal working hours as long as we can.
We do ask that customers that feel unwell with symptoms that match that of COVID-19 to get in touch and reschedule their appointments with us, to ensure the health and safety of us and our other customers.
We understand the need to have your vehicle ready and working but with the severity of COVID-19 we ask that only essential journeys are made.
If you prefer we will collect your car with prior arrangement if possible, please get in touch if you would like us to collect your vehicle, to save you having to make the journey!
Its through this tough time we all need to help each other and do our upmost to prevent the spread of the virus.

Nice one in last week!
Customer decribes it as a 'growling noise' which when said over the phone was very confusing as to what it could be! 😂
But once the vehicle reached us the 'growling' noise was quite an accurate description! 😀
The culprit was quickly diagnosed as a damaged cam follower and worn camshaft!
With swift removal of the neccesary components a new camshaft, set of followers and cam bearings with a new timing belt kit and water pump were fitted. Resulting in a very satisfied first time customer who is recommending us too friends and family and will be returning to use us in the future 😁

Today we had the privilege to work on this iconic car!
The BMW M5 with a 5 litre V10, 500 horsepower and also having the title of being the fastest 4 door saloon at the time of its release, its certainly one too remember! ⭐
With 378mm front brake discs these certainly mean business, with some awesome stopping power and the engine too match!
Customer came for a small service and front brake replacment, left with this completed and 3 worries he had either rectified or diagnosed!
Was a pleasure to work on and will look forward to future work on this monster of a motor! 🚘
