Sarah Smithurst Mbe is on her way to the TyreSafe Annual Briefing.
A great opportunity to connect with organisations that are passionate about road safety and helping reduce preventable incidents on UK roads.
Together, we can continue raising awareness of the importance of safe towing, safe tyres, and safe journeys.
Improving road safety relies on experience, collaboration and a shared commitment to protecting road users. That is why we are delighted to welcome Sarah Smithurst as a speaker at the TyreSafe Annual Briefing 2026 on 10th June.
Sarah Smithurst has worked across both the public and private sectors, with experience in North America and Ghana, delivering project management initiatives and supporting business development alongside policing organisations and the British High Commission.
During her 14 years with Nottinghamshire Police, she held roles including Crimestoppers Officer and Operation Liberal Officer, focusing on crime prevention and community engagement.
She was awarded her MBE for her Police work and charity work.
Alongside this, she is an Organisational Development specialist and has a strong passion for charity work, supporting organisations to grow, strengthen their governance, and increase their impact.
She is currently the Chief Operating Officer of the National Trailer and Towing Association (NTTA). She applied for this role because road safety is something she cares deeply about.
During her time with Nottinghamshire Police, she witnessed the devastating impact that road traffic accidents can have on individuals, families, and communities. If we can influence even one person to think differently about road safety, we have the potential to save lives.
Join us on 10th June to hear from Sarah and other leading voices from across the road and tyre safety community. Book your FREE place here.
