Reversing a motorhome into a tight spot can be a bit of a guessing game, especially when you can’t see what’s behind you.

A reversing camera gives you a much clearer view of what’s going on, making manoeuvring and parking that bit less stressful. At Liberty Caravan Services, we can supply and fit reversing cameras to help make life behind the wheel easier.

Gas servicing is more than checking whether the hob lights 🔥

We check gas tightness, regulator pressure, appliance operation, flue condition and ventilation, along with the condition of the gas hoses and connections.

Small issues with an LPG system can be easy to miss, so proper testing matters.

Your caravan’s electrics are doing a lot more than just running the lights.

During a service we check the 12V and 230V systems, battery condition, charger operation, RCD protection and circuit operation to make sure everything is doing what it should.

It’s often the bits you can’t see that tell us the most 💡

Book your caravan or motorhome in with Liberty Caravan Services for a proper electrical check as part of your service.

Nothing worse than turning the heating on in the caravan and finding out it’s got other ideas 🥶

Truma and Alde systems rely on components like burners, pumps and thermostats to keep things warm, and faults can show themselves pretty quickly in cold weather.

A cold caravan is one thing but a cold caravan with no heating is another!

If your heating isn’t playing ball this winter, book it in with Liberty Caravan Services.

Damp isn’t always where you think it is.

When we're investigating a damp issue, we're looking at moisture readings across the affected area rather than just the obvious staining. Water can track through wall construction and timber, so the visible mark isn't necessarily where it's coming from.

Finding the source properly is key to getting the repair right 🛠️

Winter’s definitely arrived now!

For a lot of caravans and motorhomes, that means they’re going to be sitting unused a bit more than usual. It’s a good time to make sure the battery, tyres, seals and water systems are all looked after before the colder weather really sets in.

A little bit of preparation now can make life much easier when you’re ready to use it again.

Putting yours away for winter? Give the Liberty team a shout if it needs checking over.

A lot of the important bits on a caravan don’t get much attention until something goes wrong.

The hitch is one of them. Couplings, stabilisers and safety components all play an important part in keeping everything secure while you’re towing, so it’s worth making sure they’re in good condition.
