S O U R C I N G S U N D A Y’S…

Here is another absolutely beautiful car sourced and sold by us at Lead Hill!

This car arrived with us earlier in the week and was delivered on Friday, which, in the time in between, it stood in prime position in our showroom. In this time, it attracted several comments, but, the stand out one from one of our Service Department customers was…

“That’s a bit new for you to be selling isn’t it?”

Our response…

“No, not really”

This, in fact is the fifth 26 Plate car we have supplied in the last couple of months. People ask us can we get such and such, and we tell them straight if we can or not…nine times out of ten, we are able to come up trumps!

This 2026 (26 Plate) Hyundai Tucson 1.6 T-GDi Hybrid 239 Black Line DCT Automatic finished in stunning, glistening, unmarked Sailing Blue metallic was sourced to the exact needs of another of our very loyal customers. The brief was clear, it had to be a Tucson, it had to be full hybrid automatic, it had to be as new as possible with as little miles as possible, it had to be as high spec as possible without exceeding the higher road tax bracket threshold…oh, and if it were to be Blue, that would be a bonus!

Tick, tick, tick, tick, tick and TICK. Assignment completed. 100% scored. Another exceptionally happy customer.

May we add, this car was just over four months old with just over 2,000 miles recorded…and still had the new car smell and feel in tact! Admittedly on a 26 Plate rather than a 76 Plate, but with a saving of £10,240 against cost new…we would have rather had this one, wouldn’t you!?

Thanks again to our customer, their loyal custom over several years and several cars at that is appreciated very, very much!

F R E S H S T O C K F R I D A Y…

No you are not confused…we are a day late with one of our main weekly features!

It’s no trick, all treat this Halloween with this stunning 2022 (22 Plate) Hyundai Tucson 1.6 T-GDi SE Connect 5-Door SUV! This wonderful example, finished in Sunset Red Pearl, is a car previously sold, serviced and maintained by ourselves…so again this is another car we know very well indeed!

This good-sized SUV comes well equipped with features such as sat nav, reverse camera, Bluetooth connectivity plus much, much more! This car benefits from a full service history and considering it’s covered 42,624 miles (which isn’t the lowest of mileages for us!) it has been kept in nothing short of tip-top condition throughout!

It has had four new tyres recently fitted - by us here at Lead Hill - and it will come supplied serviced and with 12 months MOT test, too!

We are most certain that this example will stand head and shoulders above anything else at this sort of mileage, and it’s priced bang on the money, too. An awful lot of car for £13,995!

This car literally landed with us yesterday afternoon - the pictures you see are pre-preparation…that gives you the general idea of how well this car has been cared for!

N O T O U R U S U A L F R I D A Y P O S T…

This week it’s a big, big shout out to say THANK YOU!

As October draws to a close, we have an awful lot to be thankful for, so settle down, and have a read of this post!

OUR SALES DEPARTMENT- earlier in the year we celebrated 25 years of our Sales Department and October 2026 has officially been our busiest month on record…an absolutely staggering 24 retail sales! Now, selling cars is certainly not a numbers game to us, each sale is dealt with by us with the best levels of care, quality and value we can possibly offer. Whilst we are very thankful for the amount of sales achieved, we are more grateful for the amount of repeat custom and for the people that have recommended us to new customers! We asked a couple today how they came by us…they listed a list of names as long as their arm who took the time to recommend us, that give us a truly enormous sense of pride. Thank you to one and all!

OUR SERVICE DEPARTMENT - our wonderful team has tackled it all of late…cambelts (including several wet belts), clutches, servicing, brakes, tyres (in an abundance), batteries along with routine servicing and MOT tests have all been taken in our stride in just the last couple of weeks alone! Alan, Daniel, James, Nigel, Brian and Ollie all work absolute wonders on keeping our customers’ wheels turning and engines running sweetly! Colin, Pam, Robert and we are sure our customer’s too would like to say a big, big thank you to the team!

TWO OTHER MATTERS…

Your usual ‘Fresh Stock Friday’ post has gone astray this week! Why? Well, it was too dark to photograph! So you’ll get ‘Fresh Stock Friday’ a day late, tomorrow. Keep your eyes peeled!

Trick or treating? A new rule implies that all children must share their treats with their responsible adults…it’s worth a try telling them this anyway! Enjoy any spooky celebrations, folks!

A N O T H E R O N E S O L D…

Another fine example of one our favourite model’s to stock is the latest car to leave Lead Hill this month! This stunning, very low mileage 2023 (23 Plate) Renault Captur 1.6 E-Tech Techno Full Hybrid Automatic was snapped up by one of our wonderful, very loyal customers! Yes, more repeat business we are eternally grateful for!

The thing is, they’d only come in to pick some paperwork up after having their other car serviced and MOT’d with us and they saw this on the forecourt and acted on it straight away…sometimes that is just how it happens!

A change of car was in their minds, to have a downsize from their current car as they put their caravanning days behind them…so this purchase wasn’t exactly completely out of the blue!

They did say after buying their last car from us that they now wouldn’t go anywhere else to buy a car as we don’t have the stereotypical sales person approach and they found the process with us easy and hassle free, so we issued them with the same treatment for a second time…plus we all enjoyed the chit chat from pease pudding to football - we covered it all!

P.s. unsure what pease pudding is? Google it. Goes lovely on a ham sandwich let me tell you!

G O O D C A R S S E L L R E A L L Y F A S T…

Our lovely little exceptionally low mileage 2012 (62 Plate) Vauxhall Agila 1.2 SE 5-Door Automatic brought onto sale late yesterday afternoon has been snapped up this morning by one of our very long standing customers who could not believe their luck!

This car will now undergo a service and MOT test in our workshop before being delivered on Thursday next week. Thursday can’t come soon enough for this customer who is absolutely chomping at the bit to get behind the wheel of this beautiful automatic car which will make her driving life easier!

We knew this car wouldn’t hang around, you were warned to be quick yesterday!!! Sadly, we can’t promise to magic anything similar up soon either, cars like this really do only come around once in a blue moon!

What a little beauty we have here, small automatic cars like this do not come round often at all!

This super little automatic is simply one of the best you could buy let me tell you! We’ve sold plenty of these over the years and they have all been good news - incredibly reliable, easy to get in and out of and drive very nice indeed! Plus, for a small car, they don’t feel that small at all!

Is that all you need to know? Well, if not, we will tell you a bit more. This 2012 (62 Plate) Vauxhall Agila 1.2 SE 5-Door Automatic has been kept in tremendous order throughout, and has only covered just a little over 40,000 miles from new. This is a car previously sold, serviced and maintained by ourselves - sold originally by ourselves in 2016 and serviced and maintained by us since then!

Looked after very well and we are certain that will stand head and shoulders above most other cars on offer of this age. We will supply the car freshly serviced and with 12 months MOT.

Price on application. I think that you’ll have to be quick on this one, folks!

Just arrived, just arrived, just arrived!

This 2021 (21 Plate) Toyota Yaris 1.5 VVT-i Design CVT Hybrid 5-Door is a car previously sold, serviced and maintained by us here at Lead Hill and has been kept in outstanding condition by its two owners from new.

This is one of the first Yaris’ of this later shape and it looks stunning finished in Decuma Grey which is complemented very well by the dark tinted glass and diamond cut alloy wheels! It has covered a mere 20,557 miles from new and comes really well equipped with the likes of climate control, reverse camera and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone connectivity/projection!

A very modern car which ticks an awful lot of boxes and is priced at £13,995 - compare that price, then scratch your head, and then say ‘wow, that’s good!’

More good news, you ask? It was just serviced and MOT tested by us last week - MOT Expires 04/11/2027!

We are proud as punch to say here we have another beautiful car sourced and sold by Lead Hill Garage!

And trust me, folks, this car really is absolutely beautiful. Look at the colour for a start…what a rich looking colour this is - Lava Blue Metallic - whichever way you look at it in whatever light it is stunning in every sense of the word!

Yes, this 2023 (73 Plate) Skoda Karoq 1.5 TSi SE L DSG 5-Door truly looks a million dollars both inside and out. This exceptionally low mileage top of the range model just about has it all…heated front seats, half leather and alcantara trim, sat nav, reverse camera and front and rear sensors, too!

This car is exactly (and I mean exactly) what the customer wanted. He was most grateful that we could get what he wanted, as he feared he would have to go out into the big bad world to get exactly what he wanted, which he didn’t want to do as he only wanted to deal with us! This customer is over the moon with what we have got him and we are delighted to have done him proud! The car was less money to than the others he had seen, so his smile is literally from cheek to cheek!

A three year old car with only 13,744 miles on and in beautiful condition throughout. What a find. No wonder this customer is over the moon!!

We have just had the pleasure of supplying another of our exceptionally loyal customers with this stunning, recently launched Vauxhall model!

We got our hands on this 2026 (26 Plate) Vauxhall Frontera 83Kw Ultimate 54kWh Extended Range 5-Door with just over 2,000 miles recorded with a massive saving on the new list price!

Finished in the colour it was marketed in for its launch, Canyon Orange, this range topping model is just out of this world - we were all impressed! Being the Ultimate, it comes fully equipped with reverse camera, digital dash, front and rear sensors, heated seats, heated steering wheel and a lot, lot more let me tell you! PLUS…if you are like us and are still learning about these electric cars it is worth pointing out that this is the rarer Extended Range model - there aren’t too many of these about at all - so we were very fortunate to locate this one!

With the prices at the pumps being as they are, so many people now are thinking of making the switch to electric. Now, whilst we don’t have electric cars on the forecourt (at present, anyway) this car is a prime example that we can indeed get hold of a range of makes and models. Don’t be afraid to talk to us should you be thinking to go electric!
