🚓 Bromyard Weekly Round Up 🚓
It has been another busy week for officers from the Bromyard Safer Neighbourhood Team, with proactive policing, warrant arrests and positive community engagement taking place across the area.
🚗 Vehicle Seized Following Failure to Stop
Officers on patrol in Bromyard spotted a vehicle that was well known to local police. When officers attempted to stop the vehicle, the driver initially failed to comply and made off from the area.
Following continued enquiries and proactive policing efforts, the vehicle was later located and seized. Officers also located evidence of suspected drugs within the vehicle. The driver has since been arrested and further enquires will be ongoing to progress through CPS.
👮 Operation Forefront
Earlier this week, Bromyard officers took part in Operation Forefront, a county-wide policing operation targeting offenders and criminal activity across Herefordshire.
The operation saw a number of arrests made throughout the county. Bromyard officers played their part by successfully locating and arresting an individual who was wanted on an outstanding warrant.
Operations such as these demonstrate the value of coordinated policing activity and our commitment to bringing offenders before the courts.
🤝 Positive Community Engagement
Officers were also called to reports of a disturbance in Bromyard town centre this week.
While dealing with the incident, officers took the opportunity to engage positively with members of the community. In particular, officers spent time with a young person with autism, showing them around the police vehicle and letting them try on police hats.
Moments like these help build positive relationships within our community and show that policing is about much more than enforcement. Seeing the smiles on faces made a challenging incident worthwhile and demonstrated the importance of taking time to connect with those we serve.

🌾🚔 Protecting Our Rural Communities
Officers from Leominster SNT recently came across several individuals suspected of hare coursing while on mobile patrol. Bromyard SNT and Response officers attended to assist, and following searches, equipment was seized.
Poaching doesn't just affect wildlife. It impacts hardworking farmers and landowners who often face damaged fences, open gates, disturbed livestock, and harm to their land and livelihood.
We're committed to tackling rural crime and supporting our farming communities.
👀 If you see suspicious activity linked to poaching, please report it immediately by calling 999.
