We have been made aware of a Facebook post going around about poor workman ship from my company for myself the post was very bias the van was collected by ourselfs due to the fact the customer had over filled the engine oil by 4 litres so was excessive smoking. The repair was done to manufacturer spec on the injectors new bolts and torqued down unknown to us it had a previous repair to the threads from another garage. This is the first time we have seen the van in the 202082 miles it had covered. We was unable to road test the vehicle due to its unroad worthy stat to the point we delivered the van back on a recovery truck. We have made a good will gesture of £440 to show we are willing to help even though we have done everything to the book the customer has now said he wants £600 and will remove the Facebook post. We have been in business for 14 years see approx 70-80 cars a week we always look after our customers and mistakes do happen but we will put our hands up and say and will work with our customers.
