Volvo ERAD repair. This job is not for the faint hearted. And quite frankly, highly disappointing product quality by the Swedes.
None of the designers or engineers ever consider the technician who may have to remove and repair components, or work on certain areas of the vehicle.
Different subframe design would have saved A LOT of time on this job.

Horrific finding this wwek with a low mileage vehicle that seemingly, slowed appropriately.

Failing its MOT test on the disc condition and outer pad thickness,once stripped and analysed, it became obviousthat these 11 year old, low mileage original parts had been stuck solid on one side, operating on 50% whilst overheating the stuck side to the point of the friction material leaving the backing plate!
Quietly lethal defect right there

Abarth Servicing Worcester

This little pocket rocket came in for annual maintenance and a vehicle health check.
Giving the customer all of the information (photo documented) on an electronic document, for him to make a fully educated decision about where to prioritise repairs on the wee Italian Stallion.

As for the oil filter...... that was a ball of fun to change! And I do wonder how many shops would extract the trapped cup of old oil in the oil filter housing prior to installing the new filter element. Skipping this step contaminated the new oil immediately upon start up.a bit of care goes a long way

Fully qualified technician **with proof of accreditation**
Confident carrying out **clutch replacements**
Experienced with **timing belt replacements, including wet belts**
Strong diagnostic skills and a willingness to tackle challenging technical work
A genuine desire to keep developing your skills and knowledge

🎉 10 Years at DNA Automotive Solutions! 🎉

July was a very special milestone as we celebrated Cameron’s 10 years with DNA Automotive Solutions.

Cameron (aka Nugget) first joined us as a young apprentice, taking his first steps into the automotive industry with plenty to learn and a whole career ahead of him. Fast forward 10 years, and it’s incredible to look back and see just how much he has grown — not only into a highly skilled and knowledgeable professional, but into the man he is today.

Over those 10 years, Cameron has worked hard, faced challenges, learned from those around him and continually developed himself. We’ve had the privilege of watching his confidence grow, his skills develop and his character shine through.

There’s something particularly rewarding about seeing someone start their career as a young apprentice and, a decade later, seeing the accomplished, dependable and respected professional they have become. Cameron has truly earned everything he has achieved.
