With the warmer weather, it's often the first thing people notice.

If your air conditioning isn't blowing cold air, has developed an unpleasant smell or just isn't working as well as it should, it could be time to have it checked.

In many cases, an air conditioning re-gas can restore performance, although we'll always inspect the system first to make sure there isn't another fault causing the problem.

Spotted oil on the drive recently? 👀

A small oil leak might not seem like a big deal, but it's often worth getting checked before it turns into a larger repair.

Leaks can come from seals, gaskets, pipes and other components throughout the engine.

The earlier they're identified, the easier and often cheaper they are to put right.

We work on a lot of VW Transporters and over the years we've seen a few common issues come through the workshop. 🚐

🔧 Suspension wear
Transporters often carry extra weight, whether that's tools, equipment or camper conversions. Over time, suspension components can wear and affect ride quality and handling.

🔧 EGR system faults
The EGR system helps manage emissions, but faults can sometimes lead to warning lights, reduced performance or running issues.

🔧 Brake wear
Because vans are generally heavier than cars, brakes can work harder and wear more quickly, especially on vehicles doing regular mileage.

Not every Transporter will experience these issues, but knowing what to look out for can help you spot problems early and avoid bigger repairs later on.
