โฐ The clocks go back this weekend! โฐ
Darker mornings and evenings are on the way. What can you do to make sure you're visible and safe on the roads?
๐ Motorists:
โ
Check your lights are working correctly.
โ
Carry out regular vehicle checks, including tyres, wiper blades and oil levels.
โ
Make sure your eyesight is roadworthy. You must be able to read a number plate from 20 metres away in daylight. If you haven't had an eye test in the last two years, please book one.

๐ถโโ๏ธ๐ด๐ด Pedestrians, cyclists and horse riders:
โ
Wear bright or reflective clothing, especially in rural or unlit areas.
โ
Pedestrians - avoid distractions such as mobile phones or music when crossing roads.
โ
In darkness, your bike must have front and rear lights and a rear reflector.
โ
Check your bike's brakes, gears and tyres before setting off.
Let's all do our bit to stay safe and help others see us during the darker months ahead. ๐
