Not bad for a budget build!

We’ve taken this ex-tanker Isuzu and given it a new lease of life! It’s off to a local shooting estate to be used as a game cart. We’ve completed overhauled the vehicle and chassis making it good for years to come, and Ally from AD Fabrication has built us a galvanised flat deck. We’re very happy with the results in such a short space of time.

We get a lot of people compliment us on how organised our mechanics keep parts/nuts/bolts when doing bigger jobs. This may only be a simple EGR valve replacement but by keeping everything in order and making notes it means that the vehicle goes back together the exact way it came apart, you never know when a car may sit stripped for days even weeks when an unforeseen change in plans happen during the repair and it can’t go back together the same day.

Not one for the faint hearted! Here we have a Mercedes E63 5.5 twin turbo V8! This vehicle came to us with over heating issues, Jamie diagnosed it as cylinder head gasket bank one… only one thing for it! Two new head gaskets and timing chain kit ordered from Mercedes. While stripping the engine he found two snapped head bolts to be the culprit, these were extracted carefully then all valves removed and relapped to decoke. All rebuilt and purring like a kitten, we’ll MOT this week and get it back to its owner.
