It's been a bit quiet on the AJS 9 Car Club page of late, most of our activity has been posted on our AJS Car Club Members Group, which as the name suggests is only open to paid up members of the AJS Car Club. However our 2026 rally based around The Fat Lamb in Ravenstonedale will be soon be upon us so expect a few more posts then.

The Fat Lamb Country Inn is situated between the market towns of Sedbergh and Kirkby Stephen just south of the picturesque village of Ravenstonedale. We offer high quality bed and breakfast accommodation, exceptionally good food and a warm friendly welcome.

Another AJS is up for sale. 1929 AJS Trials Car. VSCC eligible with a buff form. The car is fitted with a 4 speed gearbox, but there is a spare 3 speed gear box and a longer prop shaft. 6 Blockley tyres. Stainless steel exhaust pipes. New radiator & electric fan. UPDATE - Pleased to be able to report that this little beauty now has a new owner. Be great to get to know another new AJS owner.

Following recent sales the club is now aware of just one AJS car up for sale.
A450 is a two-seater with a dickey seat. It has been in its current ownership for over 20 years. The car was fully restored in the 1990's and little has been required since then.

We have recently found out that Jack Stevens' old metal bodied saloon A599 remains up for sale.

We've been told that it requires some light recommissioning and despite that, it seems very reasonably priced. The photos below are from our archives, but I'm sure more recent ones will be available to any interested parties.

After Jack, the car was owned by his daughters (see photos) and then it moved on to his nephew, Alec Stevens

The car is a real piece of AJS history.
