There’s something about a bronze finish on a Japanese wheel that just works.

These WORK wheels, proudly marked Made in Japan, have been refinished in OHP 18 — one of the gold/bronze shades from our budget-friendly OHP powder range.

This set of Hyundai OEM alloys has been completely transformed in Mazda Blue Anthracite Satin, giving the intricate factory design a much sharper, more contemporary appearance.

OEM AMG — but not an OEM finish.

The customer had a very specific look in mind for these genuine Mercedes-AMG wheels — so that’s exactly what we created.

Rather than simply returning them to their original specification, the wheels were completely refurbished and transformed with a Satin Black centre and precision Diamond-Cut outer rim, while retaining the distinctive AMG detailing within the machined rim.

The result is subtle, purposeful and completely changes the character of the original wheel.

Bronze done properly. 🤎

Sometimes you don’t need an exotic two-tone or diamond-cut finish to completely transform a wheel.

These aftermarket multi-spoke alloys have been fully refurbished and finished in Dark Bronze Satin — and the combination of the intricate spoke design with the warm metallic bronze works beautifully.

The satin level is important here. Rather than the high reflection of a gloss finish, it allows the metallic bronze to catch the light across the spokes while retaining a deeper, more understated appearance in the shadows. Satin bronze is particularly effective at giving complex wheel designs visual depth.

CUPRA Copper — one of the harder OEM finishes to get right. 🟠⚫

CUPRA’s distinctive copper-tinted diamond-cut wheels look fantastic, but they’re also notoriously difficult to replicate when it comes to refurbishment.

Unlike a conventional diamond-cut wheel, the copper appearance isn’t simply a coloured face. Achieving the right result requires several carefully controlled stages:

🔧 Fully stripped and prepared
⚫ Base finish applied
💎 Diamond cut on the lathe
🟠 Copper tint carefully applied over the machined areas
✨ Finished with a durable acrylic top coat

The challenge is getting that copper tone right. The final appearance is influenced by the machined aluminium beneath it, the tint application and the clear coat — meaning even small variations can become noticeable.

For that reason, we always recommend having both wheels from the same side of the vehicle refurbished together. That way, if there is any slight variation from the original OEM tint, both wheels on that side remain perfectly matched visually.

And these photos show exactly why the process matters. The contrast between the deep gloss black and that warm copper diamond-cut face is what makes these CUPRA wheels so distinctive.

💡 Why copper?

Copper has become a defining part of CUPRA’s visual identity, appearing throughout its badging, exterior detailing and interiors. Transferring that signature finish onto a precision-machined alloy wheel creates a fantastic effect — but also makes these considerably more technically demanding to refurbish than a standard diamond-cut wheel.
