Penn Garage is growing — and we’re looking for an experienced Auto Electrician / MET Technician to join our team.
We are specialists in:
ADAS Calibration & Repairs
Vehicle Electrical Diagnostics
Rodent Damage Repairs
Stolen Recovered Vehicle Electrical Restoration
Working closely with leading bodyshops across the Midlands, demand for our expertise continues to increase — and we’re now looking to strengthen our workshop team.
🔧 The Role:
Primarily workshop-based in Wolverhampton
Occasional travel to customer sites (mainly our bodyshop partners)
Electrical diagnostics and complex fault finding
Strip & refit (MET) work
Module programming & modern vehicle systems
ADAS calibration (training provided if required)
✅ What We’re Looking For:
Experienced Auto Electrician
Strong MET/strip & refit experience (essential)
Confident with modern vehicle systems & diagnostics
ADAS experience advantageous but not essential
Professional, reliable and takes pride in their work
💼 What We Offer:
£40,000–£50,000 basic salary
No weekend working

Today we had a Nissan GTR in the workshop with an HVAC fault — the blower was constantly blowing hot air, regardless of settings.

❄️ The vehicle had already been to an A/C specialist, but the issue couldn’t be resolved.
⚠️ The control unit is no longer available, making this a tricky diagnostic job.

🧠 Our technicians carried out advanced diagnostics, identified the fault, and repaired the system quickly with no issues, avoiding the need for a replacement control unit.
