RJR Cyana mk2 "Comprehensive rolling chassis kit"

The Cyana Mk2 is designed for the 750mc Sports Special Championship but eligible for other championships such as sports and saloons, Sprints, hill climbs, trackdays etc.

Part assembled kit includes the following:

Fully bracketed, cds round tube powdercoated chassis
Internal aluminium panel set, pre-firmed and drilled
Engine and gearbox mounts to suit Ford Duratec/Type 9 combination
Floor mounted pedal box with bias adjustment and hydraulic clutch
Braided brake lines and mastercylinders
Quick ratio steering rack
Steering column and quick release steering hub
Fully adjustable rose jointed suspension with mounting hardware and misalignment bushes

Just arrived at Oulton Park for rounds 3+4 of the 750mc Sports Special Championship.

We have also bought along with us, one of our latest rolling chassis kits, on display minus bodywork for all to see the detail under the skin. The price of one of our "Comprehensive rolling chassis kits" is £7500 with other kit options available to suit budget.

*breaking news* with the 2021 season only a few months away, RJR is to debut a new single seater, with the 1/4 scale wind tunnel model now complete, testing must start in the next 24hrs before all this hard work is lost forever.

An opportunity is available to purchase a new RJR Cyana Mk 2.

We have available a comprehensive chassis body kit available with a choice of engine mounts to suit either Ford Duratec or Ford Zetec engines which allows the car to run in class A or B of the 750mc Sports Specials Championship.

This particular chassis is in the final stages of completion giving the new owner time to tailor the chassis should they have any specific needs. A summary of the of kit components listed below,

Fully bracketed CDS round tube chassis powder coated in colour of your choice
All interior aluminium panels pre-cut, drilled and formed
Adjustable pedal box with mounting for dual brake master cylinders and hydraulic clutch
TIG welded CDS wishbones
Full set of rose joints, misalignment spacers, nuts and bolts
Mk 2 steering rack, rack extensions and steering columns
Front and rear fabricated uprights
5 piece GRP bodywork set, supplied in white Gel coat
Complete floor assembly, which includes front splitter, rear diffuser and all mountings

With a set of wheels and some hubs this package can be wheeled away from our workshop, the kit would be ideal for someone with an existing front engined car who wants an upgrade and increase in performance at a sensible price.

Final tune up before next weeks rd 1 + 2 of the 750mc Sports Specials championship at Snetterton.

With lockdown measures now easing, RJR are preparing to get back on track, starting with a shakedown test of an old friend next week at Snetterton.
Following a complete rebuild and upgraded to the Mk2 specification the reborn #13 is now looking absolutely superb.

Some good progress on the Cyana re-build project this week, suspension, brakes and some panels. New floor to go on next week then ready for the engine and gearbox. A month to go until it hits the track again.

This is the 2020 car for Colin Childs which we have been restoring / upgading into our mk2 specification. The chassis is now ready for powdercoating and will be built up with new bodywork over the next few weeks, with its first event planned at Silverstone in 6 weeks time. The car is an old friend, was originally built in 2006 and was my race car until the end of the 2013 season. I'm sure we will see Colin progress up the grid with this one and improve on his regular top 10 finishes he achieved during 2019.

One in one out! The Sylva Phoenix has been replaced by an old friend.....My old racecar made famous by Dave Roberts book, "The blunt end of the grid" has arrived at our workshop for a full make over, will come out in the new year following a full strip and rebuild to our latest spec.
