A whole heap of work done on this McLaren 570GT in a lovely and bespoke MSO Pacific Blue

Lots of small jobs but they combine to make a big difference

- Deep clean and decon on the outside

- Interior Deep clean

- Carbon PPF on the sideskirts and engine intake pods

- Sunroof PPF on the sunroof and rear glass
(External protection, 99% UV blocking, 95% IR Rejection and 70% VLT, great for McLarens and also Teslas)

- Brake calipers painted to match the body; Handbrake calipers painted to match the wheels
(We had to Spectro match this as the colour was not available off the shelf)

A very nice car, and a great customer who was brill to work with.

Another BMW M4 through the workshop, and another one getting the PPF treatment.

This one belongs to one of the lads who helps organise the BMW club stands at shows and events, so it's fair to say he knows his way around a nice BMW!

The car came to us for full front-end PPF, and as usual, we spent plenty of time on the details that most people probably won't even notice.

The kidney grilles were completely removed, allowing us to use bespoke PPF patterns to extend the film and hide the edges properly.

The side wing vents were also removed for the same reason.

All edges fully wrapped on the bonnet also.

To top it off, we replaced the factory rear arch pieces with our kit, available on the website, and we added a 50% VLT tinted PPF (darkest road legal option).

It's the sort of work that takes extra time and effort, but makes all the difference to the finished result.

We're fortunate to work on a lot of BMW M cars, and we still take just as much pride in getting these little details right as we did years ago.

We focus on proper preparation, carefully customised patterns and an installation we're proud to put our name to.

Brand new Porsche 911 992 In for a whole heap of work .

This one belonged to a client who used us about 3 years ago with his then new Porsche Cayman GTS

So a nice upgrade!

BMW X5M fully protected with Stealth PPF (satin/matte)

Coming in Factory Frozen Blue, the owners wanted this protected (the owners who also own the Purple M3 Touring we posted recently - that we also did full PPF on)

As usual, we extended all the edges where possible and removed the door handles and some other easy to remove trims which makes for a cleaner install

Backed by our Lifetime installation warranty for peace of mind.

It's very important to protect frozen paint as it cannot be polished and painting often requires extensive blending. Painting is not cheaper than PPF...and you lose originality!

These new Oak Green Metallic Porsches really are something else. ✅️

This brand new Porsche 911 Targa came directly to us from Porsche Reading on an enclosed trailer, before the owner had even seen the car in person.

We extended and customised the PPF patterns wherever possible for maximum coverage and a cleaner finish, before ceramic coating the film to make ongoing washing and maintenance easier.

We managed to get everything completed ahead of schedule without cutting any corners, and the car was then collected by enclosed transport ready for its new owner.

A genuinely great client to deal with too. No quibbling, 1 email and a quick phone call to get booked in - trusted us to get on with the job and was very happy with the finished project.

A lease car, so why spend money protecting it?

Well, because you're still the one driving it every day.

This brand new Nissan Qashqai came to us for a New Car Detail and a pretty comprehensive protection package.

The paintwork was properly cleaned and treated to a full machine polish before being protected with APEX NANO™ ceramic coating, giving it excellent protection and making regular washing and maintenance considerably easier.

We also removed the wheels so they could be thoroughly prepared and ceramic coated, along with a dedicated coating applied to the exterior glass.

Then we added PPF to some of the areas most likely to pick up annoying everyday damage.

The gloss black B and C Pillars were protected against the scratches and fingerprints they're notorious for.

PPF was installed inside the door handle cups to prevent fingernail and ring scratches, and the rear bumper loading lip was protected against marks from putting things in and out of the boot.

Nothing excessive. Just sensible protection in the places that tend to suffer.

Introducing our One Day Detail.

Not every car needs several days of paint correction or thousands spent on PPF.

Sometimes you simply want your car properly cleaned, noticeably glossier and protected with a genuine professional ceramic coating, without spending a fortune.

This Lexus LBX is a perfect example.

We collected it directly from the owner's workplace, carried out the detail at our Berkshire studio, then delivered it back to their home afterwards.

Despite being our entry-level detailing package, the preparation isn't skipped.

The Lexus received the same thorough exterior cleaning and paint decontamination process we use on our more extensive detailing packages, removing bonded contamination and properly preparing the paintwork.

We then carried out a gloss enhancing machine polish.

This isn't intended to be a full paint correction. So if you have a 20 Year old Range Rover, and it's only ever seen brush washes, this isn’t the service for you. You'll still need one of our correction packages for that 🤣

Instead, we're improving clarity and gloss while reducing the appearance of lighter swirls and wash marks.

Once prepared, the paintwork was protected with a genuine professional ceramic coating offering around 2-3 years of protection, easier maintenance and excellent water behaviour.

And to top it off, the work is completed in one working day. Quality results, maximum convenience.

And for most cars, the price is just £499 including VAT.

We think that's pretty incredible value for a professionally prepared, machine-polished and ceramic-coated car.

A massive transformation on this Toyota Land Cruiser - Undergoing a full colour change with Paint Protection Film.

Colour PPF is like a Vinyl wrap, but a MUCH better quality. It maintains a true paint-like finish, something that most vinyl wraps lack - and is self healing like a normal PPF. It provides the same sort of protection to your paint that PPF does, the downside is that in my opinion it's quite a bit more tricky to work with than a vinyl wrap, and the cost is quite a bit more.

It is however generally cheaper than an equivalent quality paint job - and of course fully removable..

We have done colour changes (eg black to purple etc) before but this was our first one with a solid-backed (non transparent) film material on a completely transformative colour (yellow to grey)

I didn't keep track of the hours spent, but I would estimate approximately 120 hours in total went into this project, it took easily 2-3 times as long as a normal clear PPF.

We spent 3 days alone stripping, labelling parts, keeping clips organised etc, most of the time and effort is spent extending all of our patterns to ensure optimum coverage so no original colour remains.

As a side note, we used no edge prep / adhesion promotor on this job, so removal in the future should be painless.

Dan told me if I booked another one in he would "quit and never come back". 😂😂😂 Then again he was the one who spent a couple of days stripping the doors...

I thought that It was a fun project and I would like to be able to do some more in the future.

Some of you might recognise this particular car, as it was previously owned by James May. James May

This Ferrari F430 came to us booked for full front-end PPF, along with a wheel refurbishment.

But once we had the car in the workshop and properly inspected the paintwork, we found corrosion developing around the front wings.

We could have simply installed the PPF as booked, taken the money and sent the car on its way.

But putting film over an area that we know is going to require attention isn't in the customer's best interests. Eventually that PPF would need to come back off again when the corrosion was repaired, meaning the customer effectively pays for the same job twice.

So we advised against it.

Sometimes being honest with a customer means doing less work and making less money from the job.

Integrity over money.

The bonnet and headlights were both in decent condition, so we installed PPF to those areas instead, protecting them against stone chips and road damage without unnecessarily covering the areas that need future attention.

We also refurbished the wheels, and fixed a couple of buckles - bringing them back up to standard before ceramic coating them to make ongoing cleaning and maintenance considerably easier.

A smaller job than originally planned, but the right job for the car.

And it's not every day you get to say you've advised against doing work on James May's old Ferrari. 😂
