Hi all.

Hope you are all having a reasonable 2021 so far despite all the restrictions.

We are still open as usual and are very grateful for still remaining very busy during this difficult time.

We hope (as you all do) there is light at the end of the tunnel and some resemblance of normality on the horizon.

Thought we'd share this picture of a tyre on a customers car today. Very scary.

Good afternoon.

Just a quick post to re assure all our customers that even with the new lockdown restrictions announced yesterday, we will remain open as usual for all your motor vehicle requirements. This includes MOT's, servicing and all vehicle repairs.

We have been lucky enough to have stayed open throughout the year and are truly grateful for all of your support.

Good afternoon all. While we update you on the mot extension, we thought we would share this photograph of a car presented for test today WITH the 6 month extension in place. Yep. This car is legally on the road for at least 6 more months. Good job they felt the need to get an MOT anyway.

The 6 month extension comes to an end on the 31st of July/ 01st of August. So if your car is due anytime in August, you will have to have an MOT test.

This is the new revised law and let's face it, just sensible.

If your car is due in July, you will still get an extension, but remember, its your responsibility to make sure your car is safe and road worthy.

We have remained open throughout 'lock down' and we would like to thank all our customers old and new for your continued support. We are still maintaining social distancing measures and keeping up on the cleanliness of your vehicles while they are in our care.

Also worth noting, we are offering 25% discount on air conditioning regas when you book your car in for an MOT at the same time. We can now also offer the new 1234yf air con gas at very competitive prices.

A new customer asked for a second opinion today. They had been to a garage nearby (sounds like YellFords) and they advised her that her front brakes need changing and are 'metal to metal'.
Their quote was expensive, so came to us for a second opinion.
We would say another 6000 miles on these pads?

Injector seals have been leaking on this Mercedes van for some time judging by the amount of carbon build up. Causing damage to the wiring and misfires.

COVID-19 update: 29/03/2020

During this difficult time, we are staying open and offering our services to the best of our ability.

We have taken the necessary precautions to protect our staff and customers alike, and are implementing a limited contact policy. Therefore, we ask that all cars are left outside and the keys posted through our side door, where we will sanitise them before taking them in and performing any works required.

We will ring you as soon as work is completed, and you can then make payment over the phone or via bank transfer.

We will be undergoing all our usual work offerings, but will be prioritising any NHS staff and Key workers.

We understand that due to our location it may not always be convenient to leave your car with us, so we are not closing our waiting room, but ask that it is only used when absolutely necessary and you comply with social distancing rules. Just knock the door when you

COVID-19 Update:

We are still open and will remain open for as long as we are allowed to.

We are adhering to all government recommended guidelines including cleaning, maintaining 2 meter social distancing and ensure little or no contact between our customers and staff.

We are not taking any further new bookings until May 1st, but we will be taking new MOT bookings (despite the new advice issued today), and will make booking NHS staff and key workers a priority.

Thank you for all your continued custom, and we apologise for any inconvenience this is causing in this unprecedented time.
