Today as we close the doors on Duncan Caravans Ltd for the last time it seems fitting to say a few heartfelt thank yous and goodbyes. After 56 years Duncan Caravans have officially ceased trading.
To all our suppliers from across Europe, the UK and local to us in Wishaw, a very sincere thank you for your incredible support.
To Halleys Burnhouse Caravans, Knowepark Caravans, and Perthshire Caravans thank you for assisting us and our customers with their warranty jobs and offering to take on their ongoing service work.
Over the years we have built up an incredible customer base who have shown us great trust and loyalty, and we are very grateful to you all for your support over the last 56 years. We have been overwhelmed by your very kind messages and gifts over the last few weeks. On behalf of the Duncan family and all the staff we would like to sincerely thank you all for your gifts, well wishes and of course custom over not just the last few weeks but since we opened in Newmains in 1970.
We are very proud of the business and reputation we have built but we have not been on this journey alone, we have had some incredible people work with us in providing you, our customers, with the best possible service we could. We feel blessed to have had you working with us and many of you will always be more like family than staff members. We cannot thank you enough for all your hard work and commitment. So from Danny, Joyce, Alistair and Calum, a very heartfelt thank you and best wishes for the future.
At the heart of our business has always been a belief that you get out of the community what you put in. We have always tried to support our local community in any way we could throughout the years, from donating cars to the local gala day to sponsorship of our local rugby club, to employing people from the local area, to buying products from local businesses. We hope Duncan caravans has had a positive impact on Waterloo and Wishaw, we will miss you all.
Thank you and Goodbye
