I thought I’d do a quick post as I’ve not posted for a while…

The year so far has been packed solid, keeping busy and forgetting to take photos as usual… 😬

Here’s a few (not so nice) surprises I’ve encountered recently on behalf of customers along with an example of a motorcycle racing scrutineering preparatory works, LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifiting Equipment Regulations 1998) and PUWER (Provisions of Use and Work Equipment Regulations 1998) examination.

This is a prime example of why MoT tests, inspections and services are important. A recent customer’s brake calliper securing bolt was missing, a new bolt was fitted and safety was restored.

Recently, our trusted and favourite dog walker Twiggy's Dog Walking VW Caddy needed a clutch replacement ASAP, a high quality LUK three piece clutch kit was ordered in preparation of returning from another job ready to hit the ground running.

A melted release bearing and worn friction plate were the culprits of the issue.

Only one small issue was encountered with a damaged clutch slave cylinder preventing bleeding up the system, other than that and one day of buisness lost, all is well. 🙂
