Experienced Automotive Technician
Salary: £25000 - £30000

M & T Engineering Ltd are a small, family run business which has been trading for 54 years.
We are currently looking for a vehicle technician/mechanic to join our workshop team based in Windsor.
Responsibilities and Duties:
• Carry out servicing to all makes of vehicles
• Carry out diagnostic tests on vehicles
• Carry out repairs including things such as brakes, exhausts, tyres and suspension
• Trouble shoot problems
• Order parts from suppliers
• Liaise with customers and other colleagues over bookings and work to be carried out

Qualifications and Skills:
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience
• Preferably to have NVQ/City and Guilds or equivalent to level 3 qualification
• Own tools required

Hours of work Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.30pm – NO WEEKEND WORK

Covid 19

M & T Engineering will remain open for any MOTs or work on vehicles for keyworkers or those who need their vehicles to get about.
Please ring on 01753 851952 to book an appointment. Please do not just turn up as we will not be at the workshop all the time but will come in as and when we are needed. Please do not book in unless you need your car for work as a keyworker or to care for others, as we need to follow Government advise to stay in as far as possible.
Rest assured, if you do book in, we have stringent controls in place to protect both our staff and our customers. We are following the 2 metre rule as well wiping down vehicles both on arrival at the workshop and then again when the vehicle is ready to be collected. If you are concerned about coming out, providing you live in Windsor, we may be able to arrange collection of your vehicle. Where at all possible, we are taking payment by card over the phone to minimise any contact too.

M & T Engineering are still open for business as we are classed as keyworkers to keep motorists going (in particular other vital keyworkers).
In addition, MOTs are still being carried out and are required for your insurance so as not to invalidate it.
As a business, we are following government guidelines of social distancing and we are sanitizing keys, door handles, steering wheels, gear stick and handbrake etc both on arrival and just before return to our customers.
If you are in isolation but are worried about getting your MOT done, please ring us and we shall try to collect your vehicle from your home address for the MOT to be carried out.
Please only book in where absolutely necessary. Our main concern is keeping our customers safe!
