Ford Ranger in for a wet belt (cambelt) change.

This is quite an involved job as you can see!

Get yours changed sooner than later as its a nightmare when they go :(

1989 Yamaha FZR1000 Exup.

This bike had been standing for 5 years before it came to us for a full rebuild.

Piston rings were seized and took a good few hours to remove and restore the ring land to specs. Now fully built with all new big end and main shells, piston rings and every gasket! The carbs were fully stripped and ultrasonic cleaned and built with new genuine parts.

Its now got a solid 150psi compression across the deck and runs nicely.

Few more heat cycles while I fettle the carbs and tune it.

What a bike! Proud to have got it running and cannot wait to road test it.

Edit: The owner dropped off the rest of the fairing panels today and heard the bike run for the 1st time since he bought it as a basket case 6 years ago. Video next week ;)
