Established in 1973, Douglass Motors has always been a family business.

Our story began in 1973, working out of the back of a Land Rover Series I. With only one mechanic and a lot of hard work, our legacy was born. Our passion for quality work, precision engineering and attention to detail has always been at the core of all that we do. In 2007 Douglass Motors opened our branch in Wimborne, Dorset, and the next chapter in the Douglass Motors story began. With a tight-k

nit team, we continued to strive to deliver the very best for our existing customers, and our new family here in the Wimborne. Discovery 4 Lazer LED grille conversion:
12 hours and 800 miles through the night across France. The Lazer Elite LED lamps were awesome. D4 lights are pretty good, with this conversion it really did light up the road ahead

We’ve carried out lots of light upgrades to all makes of 4x4. The Lazer grille integration kits are always our go to.
One if the best lights out there, excellent fitting components and truly a brilliant result.

This 2024 Ford Ranger required improved driving lighting for night work.
Smart finish, great looks and excellent main beam lighting…

Just arrived!
Complete LOF Clutches - Heavy Duty 4x4 Clutches Extreme Brake kit for a Def 90 project underway.
LOF offer the callipers in a range of colours, the red looks awesome!
The kit is very comprehensive with all the seals, gaskets and l**e required.
Looking forward to getting these fitted.

Defender 90: 200 tdi
Already on a Galv chassis, but the bulkhead is beyond repair. So a restored and Galvanised bulkhead replacement is underway.
Vehicle came in as a hard top. That’s now gone and a few changes are on the way…

Defender 90 TD5: Bespoke prepared.
This 90 has recently come in and as ready to go.
It has not had a penny spared when being prepped. Some unique and LED NAS lighting enhancements to the rear and an LED rear work-lamp. Warn winch up front.....
