Great trackday with this S2000 we built yesterday, many many hours have gone into this and its been battle all the way. Winter upgrades soon pushed it into ‘will even get out this year’ carbon doors from Seibon Carbon fuel surge kit from Radium Engineering®️ fully refreshed diff with an L*D, full weld in cage from Tegiwa modified to fully work with the carbon roof + windows etc. plumbed in fire extinguisher system Funk Motorsport supplying some heat protection inside fully painted and fully serviced using Motul 1.18 at donington national is sign of enough i think!

Carfest this weekend with a pair of V8’s first outing for the GT40 pray for no rain! Yes we are out of the workshop until tuesday now (and have been since weds for build up/transport for this event) all messages/emails will be replied to when/where possible. For now we’ll be the noisy ones. Garages 31 + 38 if you are here over the weekend right behind the hot wheels - which is dangerous if you’ve ever been in our waiting room. CarFest Silverstone

They keep coming thick and fast, one of 35 worldwide Lotus Exige Scura for some service work, a whole hose of alpine a110’s for everything from servicing, exhaust upgrades, harnesses, brake upgrades and grills. Hyundai i30n for and EBC brake kit + geo, Lotus emira clark edition front end PPF. BRDC classic in the lotus 20/22, porsche cayman for a suspension upgrade, K20 swapped S1 elise for engine mounts, wheel bearings and MOT and a customer trackday with 4 cars out including the E92 M3 GT4 car. I can hands down say ive never been this busy and long may it continue!

Name a bigger flex, ill wait. Finishing up in your historic race car then towing it up to yorkshire with your Aston Martin DB5. Dont usually post these sorts of things on here but had to share while packing away from a successful Silverstone brdc classic. As the dust quite literally settles on Goodwood festival of speed, car is back home and everyone has cooled off. I love this event, so to be a part of it once again is special. Great for the Hendrick Motorsports #24 to get an outing, putting on a good show for everyone and being a part of the americana celebration. The guys worked super hard up against relentless heat and super long days, battling little niggles all weekend. I can never explain to people how much effort goes into getting just one car ready physically there, let alone running the car all weekend. But its always worth it. Absolutly flat out here currently, heres just a few from the last month or so, lovely Ford cortina in for a new owners inspection and some calipers, quite a few V6 Exiges in for a variety of jobs from servicing to A/C repairs. A real mix of Geo’s with plenty of Alpine A110’s still coming through. Just about every colour of VX220. Elise for a gearbox upgrade, 2x exige for servicing and one for new cams and quite a few more that ive no doubt missed. This shows the real variety of stuff that comes through the door here. Plenty of projects on the go too!

This one gets its own post as its been a hell of a journey, last September the car suffered a huge piston failure on a european trackday - it was a built engine under warranty (just) and thus went back to the shop who built it. However with level of damage and broken bits a rebuild was not achievable in the time frame. We sourced a brand new crate engine from BMW and the car was transported here. Some delays in seals/gaskets etc dragged it out a little but as of last week the car is on the road and back to the customer after 100 miles testing. I’ll see it again for an oil change and check over before it heads back off for some nurburgring action in a few weeks time. Got an E92 with a blown engine? Get in touch for pricing on a brand new sealed motor from BMW supplied, fitted and tested.

Another manic month, Grey Alpine A110 in for a load of goodies including 2 sets of tyres, dampers, service. Wheel alignments been super busy with 2x MK1 Focus RS’s, Focus ST, and a couple of Elise’s. Red Elise in for some new rear lights and Air con repair, black S1 exige in for a supercharger rebuild, pedal box refresh an cooling fan. Silver/blue Elise for service and headlight upgrade. MX5 in for tyres and a new radiator. The white Alpine A110 in for pre season service, new wheels with sticky tyres and some undertray ducts. Cant forget the panda 100bhp either! Major service, brakes and tyres on that one. All the cars that come through the workshop still using fluids as always. No compromise.

Another month in the bag, more cars through the workshop. Customer trackday in the E92 M3 GT4, super wet one day we will actually be able to use the slicks. Fiesta race car and a lovely exige 380 having geo work. Mk1 TT for a service + exhaust. M140i for a big service using a mix of motul fluids and genuine parrs. And then lastly a stunning Elise Cup250 finished off and handed back after a giant suspension refresh, using 2 different colour which really does look great against the blue paintwork.

Well what a mad start to the year, so busy in the workshop. Ill try my best to do a round up. V6 exige 410 in for whats becoming a popular underside deep clean and protection, geo, lightweight battery from and a list of other jobs.
S2000 in for a clutch+flywheel, big service and tyres. The wheel alignment ramp stack with drift cars, lotus’s and another Alpine A110. New renuault 5E in for lower springs. Not to mention the endless servicing, MOT’s etc. Absolutely mental and the sun hasnt even come out yet
