We are looking for a trainee roadside recovery operator!
If you live in West Cumbria and have basic mechanical knowledge this may interest you.
You don't need experience, or good school grades. All you need is to be 20 years old plus, and one years driving experience and a strong willing to learn with basic understanding of vehicle mechanics.
Your job role will be operating a roadside assistance van, with a fold away towing trailer. You will be attending roadside call outs, and if you cannot repair the vehicle, you will use the trailer to recover the vehicle to customers home address or local garage.
You will also be helping in our car workshop between roadside tasks, gaining mechanical experience as you are surrounded by our experienced mechanics.
The job involves late night and weekend call outs on a set rota basis. This is paid on an overtime rate.
This is a perfect job for someone with an interest in cars or the transport industry.
Helping people and solving issues is very rewarding, while enjoying driving around our beautiful county.
You need to be reliable, punctual, keep equipment clean and most of all, willing to learn.
