The business subject to the focus of our sponsor spotlight this week is a long-established family run service and MOT garage in the heart of Wigton run by a longtime supporter of both ourselves and Wigton RUFC, Richard Benson.

As well as the usual MOT and services they also offer a huge variety of different mechanical works such as replacement tyres, vehicle remapping and air-con re-gassing. If you are ever in a bit of a sticky situation with your vehicle, rest assured Richard and team will treat you with the upmost care and respect.

Well what can I say about 2024? It’s been a busy one.
The workload has been epic and all my awesome staff have worked their socks off.
We wouldn’t be where we are now without them, for which I am truly grateful!
To all our customers we would like to wish you a very merry Christmas and a happy new year!
We will see you next year!
We will re-open on the 06th January 2025

We are looking for an enthusiastic vehicle technician and mot tester to join our already fantastic team,
Fully qualified mechanic and mot tester to test in our new ATL test lane on class 4 and 7 Vehicles
(we also test class 1 and 2 motorbikes)
Duties will include Mot testing, repairs and general servicing on cars and light commercial’s
5 day week (no weekends) bank holidays off
32-42k per annum depending on experience
Driving licence required

Well it’s that time of year again folks!
Christmas has arrived for us at brookside garage!
Wednesday 20th December is our last day of the year, we will reopen on 02nd jan!
I would like to thank all our lovely customers this year and most importantly my Awsome staff, who without them this would not be possible!
We have had an insanely busy year, the Christmas break is certainly well deserved!

Well, that’s it for 2022 for Team Brookside!
After having one of the busiest years to date we’ve decided everyone deserves a few extra days of peace and quiet!
