PAUL BATEMAN SWAPS TYRES FOR TRAINERS IN HALF MARATHON FOR DAFFODIL DREAMS – JOINED BY CLLRS CHRIS READY & LOL HUNT
Paul Bateman, well-known owner of Roundhouse Tyres in Whelley, will be swapping tyres for trainers on 15th March, taking on a fundraising half marathon in sunny Wigan to support the incredible local charity Daffodil Dreams.

Paul won’t be running alone. Joining him on the day will be Cllr Chris Ready and Cllr Lol Hunt, who will both be completing the 5K to raise money for causes close to their hearts, including the Royal Free Hospital and Wigan & Leigh Hospice and Daffodil Dreams touches name just a few

Paul praised the charity, saying:

“The work Maureen and the team do at Daffodil Dreams is amazing, and the amount of people they help is fantastic.”

Cllr Chris Ready added:

“Paul is a fantastic guy and this money raised will help so many people. It should be a fantastic day.”

Cllr Lol Hunt said:

“I’m really proud to be taking part alongside Paul and Chris. Daffodil Dreams touches so many families, and every step we take will help make a difference.”

Maureen Holcroft, founder of Daffodil Dreams, expressed her gratitude:

“We’re so thankful to Paul, Chris, and Lol for supporting us. Every donation helps us bring comfort and care to families when they need it most.”

The event promises to be a brilliant community effort, supporting causes that make a real difference across the borough.
