WE’RE HIRING!
We are looking for a time-served vehicle technician to join our busy internal workshop.
Full-time position within a well-established, friendly, family-run used car showroom with access to excellent facilities.
Your day-to-day duties will include but are not limited to:
Primary duties of the role:
· Completion of high-quality maintenance/repairs, inspections, and appraisals.
· Carry out accurate fault diagnosis using diagnostics to achieve first-time fixes.
· Advise the manager if additional vehicle work is required and seek their approval and advice to proceed.
· Provide quality ‘write-ups’ on job cards.
· Complete vehicle inspection report sheets and job cards.
The essential criteria for the role is as follows:
· Good timekeeping and a positive attitude is a must for success in this job role
· Sound knowledge of modern vehicle systems/diagnostics.
· A thorough vehicle inspection and reporting ability.
· Competent with all types of vehicle mechanical repairs.
· Accurate in job card ‘write-ups’ and reporting.
· thorough knowledge of MOT standards and regulations.
Salary Depends on experience.
Hours: Mon - Fri 8:30am - 6pm - Sat 9am - 1pm
Based: Park Lane Garage, Warrington Road, Goose Green, Wigan, Lancashire WN3 6XB
