🛑 When you’re annoyed because my pupil is taking a bit longer to pull away than you would 🛑
🛑 When you’re annoyed because we are doing 20mph in a 20 zone 🛑
🛑 When you’re tailgating a learner driver and intimidating them 🛑
🛑 When you’re annoyed because that clearly marked learner car is in front of you and you’re assuming will delay you at some point 🛑
These are common issues that a driving instructor faces on each lesson.
I always explain to my pupil that you’re not doing anything wrong. However, the people around us displaying their annoyance at us are demonstrating THEIR ISSUES. They are behaving impatiently, disrespectfully, selfishly and with no consideration to others. Most of all they have forgotten what it was like to be learners themselves! The pupil in front of you could be FROM YOUR FAMILY. Would you disrespect them too?
We as driving instructors are doing our jobs and our pupils are learning a new skill.
Anyone showing aggressive and disrespectful behaviour towards us clearly has issues! Thank you for revealing your TRUE SELF to them for all to see
