Mercedes-AMG C63 S | Single-Stage Paint Correction & Ceramic Protection
This stunning Mercedes C63 S came to us for a single-stage paint correction, followed by a premium ceramic coating package using Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light + EXO.
Before any protection could be applied, the paintwork needed addressing. Unfortunately, the previous workmanship on this vehicle was very poor, with multiple visible holograms and defects left behind from improper polishing. The finish showed clear signs of a lack of knowledge and understanding of correct machine polishing techniques.
Our single-stage correction focused on refining the paintwork, removing the majority of the unwanted holograms and improving the overall clarity, gloss and finish of the vehicle.
Once the paint was properly prepared, we applied Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light (CSL) followed by EXO.
The two coatings work extremely well together:
🔹 Crystal Serum Light provides the primary ceramic protection, creating a durable, chemically resistant layer with excellent gloss, slickness and protection against environmental contamination.
🔹 EXO is applied as the top layer, adding an additional level of hydrophobicity, making water and contamination much easier to remove while enhancing the gloss and slickness of the finish.
CSL + EXO together provide a fantastic combination of durability, gloss, chemical resistance and extreme water behaviour, giving the C63 S a much better level of protection while making it significantly easier to maintain.
The result is a dramatically cleaner, sharper and more refined finish — exactly how this Mercedes should have looked in the first place.
Correct preparation is everything. The coating is only as good as the surface underneath it.d
